Part one of The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion showed aired last night (April 8, 2013). ?The 1 hour episode was the first of the 3-part reunion series for the 5th season of the popular reality show and it did NOT disappoint.

The shade was so thick during the first 10 minutes of the show that it was almost a dayum blackout!

Kenya Moore tried to steal the show by whipping out a large fan each and every time she was stumped with an answer. ?Moore?whipped that thing out, and dramatically fanned herself when confronted…. often even blatantly refusing to respond.

It was an odd display… even for Miss Bi-Polar?Miss U.S.A. 1993.

Kandi Burruss was one of the first to throw a dig at Moore, who is known to “steal” a few original ideas on occasion, by refusing to reveal her wedding date because “someone might steal it”.

That being said… it seems Kenya is still STEALING ideas…

Ummm… maybe they both were going through “the change”… 😯

All jokes aside… here’s my recap of the RHOA reunion show:

The first two to go head to head were the newbies… it was Kenya Moore vs. Porsha Stewart as the two revisited the episode where Porsha called her Miss America instead of Miss U.S.A.

Porsha called Kenya out about her jealous streak and asked her why she seemed to hate her right off the bat, Kenya whipped her fan out and refused to answer.

One thing’s for sure, Porsha certainly surprised us all by reciting the facts about the real first Black Miss U.S.A., Carol Gist…

And yet again when Porsha inquired as to why Kenya acknowledged Vanessa Williams (Miss America) and NOT Carol Gist, Kenya whipped out her fan and refused to answer.

The ladies also discussed their thoughts on the release of?Gone with The Wind Fabulous, and the “Battle of the Booties” took center stage between Kenya and Phaedra Parks.

Parks called out Kenya about her fake boobs and butt and oddly enough… Kenya never denied it. ?Andy also brought out the fact that Moore has been exaggerating about the sales of her DVD vs. Phaedra’s.

It was clearly the Kenya Moore show and apparently she feels as if she owns the show now as well.

Notables:

Cynthia Bailey clearly won best dressed for this year’s reunion with Kandi Burruss coming a close 2nd.

Kenya Moore and her red eyes… contacts can do that sometimes.

Porsha taking up for her soon to be ex-husband Kordell Stewart.

Phaedra Parks read Kenya for the Gawds… calmly and without raising her voice. ?Being 8 months pregnant, I’m sure she wasn’t trying to go there but she gave it just enough!

Nene Leakes, aka the queen bee of RHOA, sat on her throne and laughed at the battles between the other ladies. She also on occasion even seemed to put Andy Cohen in check.

There were quite a few digs taken at ex-housewife Sheree Whitfield… one in particular refereed to Porsha as a “trophy wife” who would “be dumped by 40 like Sheree Whitfield”.
