Bishop Eddie Long is no longer a “commoner” in fact, according to the congregation at his New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, Long is now KING!

Crefelo Dollar tried to tell y’all LONG had insurance, well it looks like his policy is finally paying off.

Now I could go on and on about how Long took advantage of those 4 young men who sued him for sexual coercion and the fact that Long decided to settle out of court with the Church’s money? for reportedly $24.8 million dollars and a “private” apology after a 5th accuser came forward with even more damaging information about his conduct….

I could further rant about how 2 of the FIVE young men chose to tell their compelling story to news reporters because they are so traumatized about the situation and are STILL seeking closure.

Or maybe I could mention how Bishop KING Eddie Long felt the young men revealed too much about their “relationship” with him so he sought to get his HUSH money back.

I could mention all of that but it still wouldn’t matter…. because Long is “covered in scripture” and he’s KING of his flock!

The video is actually quite touching, albeit a bit disturbing to say the least.

Long shed a few tears and the New Birth congregation went wild.? It’s kinda cult like but then again, aren’t all “faith-based” celebrations?

Ralph Messer, a visiting speaker, worked the crowd into a frenzy during last weekend?s service. As his pitch raised and excitement grew he said of Long:

?He?s a king. God?s blessed him. He?s a humble man. But in him is kingship. In him is royalty. In him was a land of Israel. In him was a k chromosome. He was brought through the slaves, raised up in a city, and God now wants to release a new anointing.?

Long was then wrapped up in scrolls and hoisted in the air while remaining in his chair by four men as the congregation went wild. He was paraded around the stage as Messner labeled him a king.

In a piece by Rev. Wil Gaffney, Ph.D. for The Huffington Post there is a 27 point list discrediting Messer. In part it stated:

?He does not, however, represent recognizable Jewish thought or practice in his (mis-) representations of the Torah and other Jewish sancta ? or for that matter, New Testament and Christian biblical interpretation and theology.?

Long has clearly been forgiven by his congregation and is still their spiritual leader.

As y’all love to say ‘we all make mistakes’ and I totally agree, but Long never publicly acknowledged his wrongdoings, choosing instead to conceal his misdeeds under the cloak of a “confidentiality agreement.”

I personally feel that as a true ‘man of God’ Long should have stood up and confessed his sins and yet he didn’t say a word and y’all all act like it never happened.? The Devil is a lie…
