Killer Mike aka Mike Bigga has been very busy lately.? In addition to lending his signature voice to announcing upcoming episodes of The Boondocks on Adult Swim, Mike has been in the studio recording his new album.

Killa Killz sat down with Maurice Garland recently and previewed a new song he’s working on called “Burn” and although the hook is “I will burn this muthaf*cker down…” it has absolutely NOTHING to do with Mel Gibson. It’s a very thought provoking track and Mike explains how he’s trying to spread social consciousness through his music:

It’s not a political record as much as a “social record”… this record is called “Burn” because I feel that social insitutions are failing people. Trapboy talk: ‘schools ain’t doing sh*t for me. jails and police ain’t doing sh*t for me. All these things that profit from me are failing.‘ So I did something about it…
