The song is hawt on it’s own and the remix is just that much better.? Check out the remix to Keri Hilson‘s Turnin’ Me On featuring T-Pain and Lil Wayne.? Keri goes hard at ‘someone’ in her mini rap when she states “Check the credits Ho!”…everyone seems to believe it’s Beyonce but I don’t see it that way. I thinks she’s merely tellin all y’all hating “A”zzz “ho’s” that she wrote this ish! 😆
By the way, Tariq “King Flex” Nasheed called me out as a ‘super snoop’ on his Mack Lessons radio show last week and he also asked me to post more Keri. Tariq seems to think that Keri doesn’t do men.
Well I put my super snoop skills to work King Flex! You’ll be happy to note that Keri plays with balls. 🙂
Nearly a year after Big Boi tore up the Fox with his collaboration on the hip-hop ballet Big, his partner in crime Andr? Benjamin aka Andre 3000 will be hitting the stage in a newly adapted stage version of his Emmy award-winning “Class of 3000” cartoon series. The show originally aired on The Cartoon Network but they ceased production on the animated comedy after only 26 episodes. Now the Alliance Children?s Theatre will present the world premiere stage adaptation beginning this Friday (March 6th). In case you didn’t know, Dre is the show?s creator, executive producer and starred in the toon as the inspirational music teacher Sunny Bridges.? He also created a new song for every episode (five of which will appear in the stage play). When asked if it was difficult writing music for a younger audience, the ATL legend responded:
I wasn?t trying to water down the music aspect of the show just because it was for kids. You watch old ?Peanuts? or ?Fat Albert? shows, they weren?t necessarily kids? songs. On ?Peanuts,? you?re listening to jazz by Vince Guaraldi. I want to make sure that kids had something to listen to that wasn?t teeny bopper songs ? although we would do those, too, if they fit into the story. I wanted to give them a little jazz, ragtime, blues, funk music, with the hope that if kids heard those kinds of music later, they?d say, ?Hey, I remember this kind of song!? I thought that was fitting, since I play a music teacher. I also wanted to show how different kinds of songs, like classical music, could be reinterpreted in new ways, which is what I like to do with my other kinds of music. MORE
The music definitely isn’t watered down! It’s smooth, comfy and feels like home. Between this play and Big Boi’s Big with the Atlanta Ballet, these two dudes are dayum near unstopable! I can’t wait to see what Dre comes up with onstage! (Anyone got a kid they could loan me next week 😕 )
A few of my favorite songs from Dre’s “Class of 3000” as well as show information below:
Jermaine Dupri, Usher, Johnta Austin, Bryan-Michael Cox and InTynational (aka The Oceans 5) all took a moment to clown Christina Milian’s “broke blonde” look at the recent Atlanta hawks game against the Cavaliers. WoooooW! 😯 Oh yeah…they didn’t leave Chris and Rihanna out! Calling them a “modern day Ike & Tina”…
Here’s more of Jeezy showin off his sexy “A”zzz swag! Check out his new video for “Circulate” (produced by Don Cannon) where he’s displaying his SUPERSTAR STATUS! In the video, Jay Jenkins is shown performing live onstage and partying it up at New York’s Hotel Plaza Athenee with a slew of beautiful hootchie groupies. In case you forgot, Jeezy’s the spokesperson for Belvedere Vodka and the video was released over on their website last week.? Visit JeezyCirculate.com to peep a few of Mr. Jenkins’ commercials for the beverage.
Fresh off the success of his current film release, Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail (which grossed over $41 million opening weekend), Perry is already planning a quick escape from the madness of Hollywood.? Recently, the 39 year old bachelor confirmed to People Magazine that for his 40th birthday (September 14th) he plans to join the ranks of David Copperfield and Mel Gibson with the purchase of the ultimate getaway. A tropical island paradise!
“I’m a loner by nature, so when I’m out there on these islands, I just feel like the only person in the world,”
After recently spending a week vacationing on a private island in the Great Exumas in the Bahamas, he admits it’s not all relaxation: “Renting an island is the best place for me to work uninterrupted.”
What will he call his own private isle? “It won’t be Tyler Perry’s Island!” he laughs. “I’m so sick of seeing Tyler Perry all over everywhere!”
Instead, he’ll wait until he’s inspired by the exotic locale, which he hasn’t quite decided on yet. “It’ll speak to me,” he says. “I’ll know what to call it once I’m there.”
I’m sitting here wondering what would possibly go on on TP’s island paradise. Will there be tons of Madea-esque drag queens struttin around smoking cigarettes in bikini’s or sexy island mami’s catering to his every whim?? Hmmmm? *scratching head*? We’ll never know…cause Tyler’s already imposed one rule before he’s even signed the closing documents… No paparazzi! So I guess we’ll just have to either wait for an invite or use our imagination…
Have fun Tyler! 🙂 Tyler Perry’s Madea Goes to Jail is in theatres now.
