Comedian Martin Lawrence?made a dramatic return to social media yesterday (February 19, 2015).

The funny man posted?the following proclamation of his return:

Then followed with the announcement he’d just completed writing the script for the sequel the ‘Thin Line Between Love and Hate‘!

The original film was released back in 1996?film and Lawrence starred alongside Lynn Whitfield, Regina King, Della Reese and Bobby Brown.

The dark comedy/romance was directed and co-written by Martin Lawrence, who co-wrote the orignal screenplay alongside Kenny Buford, Kim Bass and Bentley Kyle Evans (who also wrote for the?hit sitcom, Martin).

In the original version, Lawrence played?Darnell Wright, a ladies’ man who finds himself targeted by one of his obsessed lovers.

Martin recently announced on via Instagram that he and Bentley Kyle Evens have?completed the script for the sequel to the film classic film and he’s ‘excited as a MF!’
