Season 6 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta is coming to a close, and there have been a slew of rumors about cast firings.
The popular reality show, whose cast members include Nene Leakes, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey and Porhsa Williams, may have actually completed it’s highest rated season yet.
The fight that occurred between Porsha and Kenya during part one of the reunion show (click HERE to watch again), has apparently bolstered each of the ladies stock in the reality show world, but that hasn’t stopped the rumor mill from running with talk that Porsha had been booted… especially after Andy Cohen kindly sent her home during the taping.

Many have reported that Porsha, Cynthia and even Marlo (who’s not even a ‘housewife’) have all been booted from the show for season 7.
Well I beg to differ my friends… and I have the REAL tea on the season 7 cast!
If care to know who’s leaving, who’s staying and who’s coming aboard for season 7, read below (spoiler alert!)…
First thing’s first… There is no way under the sun that Marlo Hampton could ever be ‘fired’ from RHOA because she was never hired!
For the record, Marlo’s guest appearances were all UNPAID, just like the other ‘background’ characters you saw coming and going (i.e. Chuck & Mynique Smith and Christopher & Natalie Williams).
From what I’ve heard, all Marlo got outta the deal was a few camera shots showing off her fabulous fashions and a chance to ‘stick it’ to her former friend Nene, by cozying up to Kenya Moore.
That’s it. I hope it was worth it….
Rumors of Porsha being fired first started back when it was revealed that she dragged Kenya across the reunion show floor.
While it is true that Porsha was sent home, the talk of her termination was premature and just plain ol wrong.
My sources all confirm that Porsha’s job is safe and she will be returning next season.
Unfortunately, Kenya Moore’s spot is safe as well. *sigh*
As long as Moore is willing to act a fool for her pay, she’s guaranteed a paycheck.
On the other hand, Kenya may opt to leave on her own (fingers crossed), for I’ve heard that she has her own scripted show in the works for TVOne.
Former ‘besties’ Nene Leakes and Cynthia Bailey have clearly been at odds, and while Nene admitted that Bailey was the weakest link during her one on one with Bravo Andy on Watch What Happens Live!, Bailey isn’t going anywhere either.
That leaves Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss, and needless to say, they’re both safe as well.
So you heard it here first, no one is getting booted… none… zero… zip… nada!
That being said, there will definitely be some new (and/or recycled) additions to the cast next season.
It’s been a long time rumor that ex-housewife Sheree Whitfield would be returning and being that she had absolutely NOTHING on her plate, that’s not as far fetched as some may think.
My sources confirm that Whitfield has been in negotiations to return to the top rated show and from what I’ve heard, she’ll be added as another ‘wild card’… i.e. willing to do anything for a check.
When Sheree left the show, she was making around $400,000 and my sources say that IF she returns, she won’t be getting anywhere near that dollar figure.
I’ve heard Sheree asked for $200,000 to return for season 7 and executives laughed in her face. Negotiations continue, but while Sheree would probably want fans to believe she’s playing herd ball, it’s a known fact that she’ll return for free, so at a minimum, she’ll have a few ‘Marlo-like’ cameos filming with Kenya Moore.
For the record, I’m told that producers also asked Kim Zolciak to return and she said no… (or hell no!).
Another new (brand new) addition that I’ve heard Bravo has their eye on is Valeisha Butterfield-Jones.
Valeisha (36), is the wife of Atlanta Hawks player Dahntay Jones and daughter of North Carolina Congressman G.K. Butterfield and State Representative Jean Farmer Butterfield. She is also a graduate of Clark Atlanta University.
Valeisha married NBA baller Dahntay Jones in 2011, and is no stranger to the blawgs being that she was involved in several high profile relationships prior to finding the love of her life (she was once engaged to rapper Game and also dated BET’s Terrence J.).
But Valeisha Butterfield-Jones is not just a basketball wife.
She spent six years as Executive Director of Russell Simmons’ voter education and youth empowerment organization Hip-Hop Summit Action Network and went on to work in the Obama administration from 2009-2011 as Deputy Director of Public Affairs for International Trade, after serving several years as a volunteer.
In 2012, Butterfield-Jones served as National Youth Vote Director for the Obama for America re-election campaign. She was also once recognized by ESSENCE Magazine as one of its top 40 executives under 40.
Valeisha would probably be my best bet as a new addition for season 7, but nothing is written in stone as of yet.
So to reiterate…
1. No one is getting fired. All season 6 cast mates are said to be returning for season 7.
2. Bravo is definitely considering bringing back former ‘housewife’ Sheree Whitfield, but her pride may be a deciding factor being that they are unwilling to pay her much (if anything).
3. Kim Zolciak was asked to return but she said no…
4. Valeisha Butterfield-Jones is in the top running to be the newest housewife to hold a peach…

I would LOVE Sheree Kenya Cynthia AGAINST moose Dumb dumn and 1,000 YEAR OLD boring phakdra Lol.
Sheree is going to jump out of a box like Shangela did when she reappeared on Drag Race, lol. I wouldn’t mind her returning, I’m just not sure if she has much to add, but hey, maybe her misfortunes have humbled her spirit and she could be a different person.

Sheree brings actual drama ( her personality is strong) and she is one of the few that is not afraid and can easily go toe to toe with nene leakes.
I don’t think Nene would have a problem arguing with Sheree again cause Sheree told all of Nene’s secrets last go round. Nene probably will remain friend-free next season. Just socialize. That way she can’t be responsible for carrying anybody.
Believe that if Sheree comes back Nene will be at every event and going back to her loose cannon ways. Remember, Nene’s pride is her biggest downfall. She already has Kenya/Public Enemy #1 after her. If she sense Sheree and Kenya teaming up, she’ll start to get nervous.

I agree, I would watch only if Porsha stayed. Sheree, no go, but this new lady, hell yea, she’s educated and interesting and like Phaedra has businesses. NeNe will be leaving most likely after this season so they need someone new who can hold a show down, I’m looking for Porsha, Kandi and maybe this new lady VALISHA to be the break out stars on this show. Kenya should leave.
I hate that scatterbrained titmouse porsha is staying, but I’d love to see the drama with Sheree. And you know she’s going to team up with Kenya. They both have fake personalities, so it won’t last.

Kenya is broke! I’ve seen those B movies she’s made and she’s not much of an actress just a drama queen. As far as NeNe leaving….LOL! Linnethia Leaks owns so many shares in the RHOA regardless if she’s in front of the camera or not she’s getting paid and will be calling the shots with Andy. NeNe said keep Kenya because her drama was good for the show,(that is until people get tired of it after awhile it just gets old) she also said bring Porsha back. Kenya doesn’t have a pot to piss in a window to throw it out of.

Bravo has no one to blame but themselves for this one. If this clusterfukk of a cast is anywhere near true it’s because they have no choice. Bravo placed NeNe above her castmates the moment they hinted that she had some input into whether the girls were fired or not. With none of the girls wanting to receive the same ill fate that Sheree received, everyone became NeNe’s personal a$$ kisser, cosigning everything that she said and did, right or wrong. Now the whole dynamic of the group is messed up because everyone is too afraid to step on the "queen bee’s" toes and get their Bravo checks cut off. Bravo has no choice but to throw in "wild cards" like Kenya and Sheree to try to keep the show from being a total snoozefest. The girls say they want Kenya gone, but no one else has been keeping it real so that Kenya’s antics would not be needed. Season 6 was 75% NeNe and her cronies. Can’t wait to see some real action next season.
You are on point. I recall Nene on WWHL after Sheree was fired and she was apologizing to Andy for referring Sheree for the job, calling her evil and saying how much better it was with her gone. If Sheree’s return is actually going to materialize, it will be like a slap in the face to Nene because she lords the power. Too bad Kim elected to abstain. That would have been a double whammy. Porsha should have been terminated on the spot for violencw in the workplace. There are rules in place against physically assulting another employee regardless of being taunted. An employee just cannot lay hands on another. With the decision to keep Porsha, Bravo has set a bad precedent pertaining to physical brutality against a co-worker (if it is good for the goose it is good for the gander). Should another cast member decide to have a repeat performance of physical violence, this decision gives them a get out of jail for free card. If Porsha’s fans are of the same mentality, and I am afraid they are, they will identify with her and believe they can act out like she did. In the real world it will cost them their jobs. Maybe there is truth to her smushing a producer. Saved her job. By her own admission Porsha is too fragile for the housewives environment and needs to find a different job like picking radishes, hand painting feathers, designing sandboxes. Whoops, the last one requires thinking. Sorry about that.

I will say this though, I already knew Kenya wasn’t going anywhere — hate her or love her, she sent the past 2 seasons ratings through the roof and Bravo is paying heavy attention to that. Phaedra may leave on her own due to personal/family issues because I can’t see her letting BRAVO exploit her like that. I am sure they already asked her to come back another season. So Kenya is back.. what is her story line. Last season it was predominantly Phaedra and Apollo. Her mom stills hates. Her dog died. She cant get along in a group setting. No one will film with her. Visited a sperm bank, released a copycat non money making DVD, fought with everyone on the show. resurrected Marlo, Now shes gonna do what with Sheree? A fashion line or real estate. I so agree with you. Sheree was one of the original cast. So I believe it will be a little bad blood with Nene and Sheree but not through out the whole season because they’ve been knowing each other for years before the show. Plus I kept reading between the lines when they both said the show has changed and hasn’t been the same without the original cast members. So this is why I believe they are bringing Sheree back. Nene and Sheree know how to read each other then get together and have a couple of drinks.

I think one current cast member has to be downgraded. We’ll have to see how Bravo spins the upcoming Porsha 1 on 1 with Andy special (remember with Jill Zarin last year? those aren’t always a good thing….) but she would still be my top choice right now.

Season 7: Nene 1, Kandi 2, Cynthia 3, Porsha 3, Kenya 5, Valeisha 7 (Sheree 1, Porsha 5). With of course Marlo, Malorie, Carmon and possibly even Mynique getting in on the action in lesser roles. Sounds good to me
Jill Zarin had already been fired and not included in the series that was airing. Maybe Andy is planning on firing Porsha on air

Really, it is time for Kenya to go. I cant stand her. But of course since she brings so much drama she will not go anywhere. Everyone knows that the more drama you provide, the more they want you to stay on the show. Thats sad really. Unfortunately, good times and friendships do not sell.

There are people over there calling SFTA & RT stupid and fake because TT was told that NeNe and Porsha are fired. I mean everyone has different sources, I don’t understand why people have to jump in the gutter and become unglued over people they don’t even know.

I was a fan of Nene but she has changed so much and she acts as if she is so much better than the rest of her co-stars.. She talks about Kenya but when she was dating Greg he was married to someone else. She is a bully, liar and trouble… AND Phadrea is working my nerve because she wants to kill Kenya because her husband is obviously in love with Kenya and he cannot let it go.. Maybe they slept together but he is the married one and during reunion 3 he kept talking to Kenya. Phadrea kept calling Kenya a whore on TV and she is a lawyer and a mother and her remarks made her look like a fool, when she should be correcting her husband.. Then she makes this comment to Kenya in reference to writing a check when her husband is facing criminal charges for stealing from the government… Phadrea is getting what she paid for.. she married a criminal and a man who is uneducated and love women. Phadrea looks desperate when she keeps going after Kenya when obviously her husband is the one she needs to check and she has the ugliest smile.. During the reunion he was talking about Kenya toes.. Really.. Apollo even speaks unintelligent..

I’ve been seeing a lot of old clips of her on the show and I forgot how damn funny she was. Good thing Bravo actually realizes that they got the formula right with RHOA. All the other franchises rotate castmembers every season but there is value in everyone on RHOA… even though I was hoping Kenya would get the boot. I’m all for these 6 + Sheree. And I think another NEW addition would be good too. Keep things fresh
