Tameka Raymond‘s 11 year old son Kile Glover died early this morning after being hospitalized following a freak jet ski accident on Lake Lanier (July 21, 2012).

Kile, whose father is Atlanta TV executive Ryan Glover, suffered a critical brain injury and was unresponsive when pulled from the lake following the mid afternoon crash which occured on July 6th.

It had been reported that?Kile was brain dead and that doctors felt that a full recovery was unlikely.

While earlier reports suggested that that Kile was taken off life support, it was later clarified by the family that Kile died of heart failure.

According to WSBTV,

A?family friend told Channel 2 Action News the stepson of singer Usher Raymond died of heart failure on Saturday morning, approximately two weeks after he got hurt in a Lake Lanier accident.

A friend of the child’s family had earlier reported that Kile was taken off life support but later clarified that the child died of heart failure.

Funeral arrangements have not been disclosed, but will be reportedly handled by Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, who declined to provide any additional immediate information.

Kile’s big brother Ryan posted the following tribute in his honor, stating:

RIP lil brother. Kile I love you zoo much and I wish I was the one in Heaven instead of you. From now on, everything I do is for you, ily man
