You read it here first that Marlo was going to be a new edition to the RHOA cast and she was often seen taping with the ladies over the summer.
Marlo even traveled with the ladies on their South African get-away, so we all just KNEW she was made in the shade. Even the AJC fell for it…

But as I said in my first post, no papers had been signed so Marlo was merely being tested and apparently she failed… miserably!
Marlo may tell you differently (she’s been telling everyone she talks to that she’s a Real Housewife of Atlanta) BUT rewind… pause… backup!
Since I never want to be accused of spreading the wrong information, I want to be the first to set the record straight about Marlo Hampton!

My source told me that Bravo decided to ditch the high fashion diva (who has been photographed with several of the ladies rocking All GUCCI everything) all because of her shady criminal past and “highly inaccurate” account of her relationship status with NFL baller Charles Grant.
As you know, Marlo represented herself to Bravo as “engaged” to the baller that was formerly linked to NeNe Leakes, however word on the curb is that Marlo was pulling “stunts” and was NEVER engaged to Grant (no ring, no engagement, no nothing!)
Marlo was brought on to inflame NeNe, but apparently Ms. Leakes already knew the tea, which is why the two “stunt queens” hit it off so well.
You know once you tell a lie, you have to keep it going and Grant apparently wouldn’t help Marlo in her quest for inclusion on the show so she decided to go the other route… 
Instead of battling with the ladies, Marlo decided to befriend NeNe, Phaedra, Cynthia (Hell ANYONE! Even a blogger or two) so that she could make the cut.
But it didn’t work.
In essence, Marlo didn’t have ANY of the qualifications that Bravo requests for inclusion on the show, i.e. married, divorced or in a long-term relationship with a baller/well-to-do mate, career, kids.
She was also considered “dangerous” because of her violent criminal past (a past that she blamed on being raised in foster care).

Bravo execs claim that they didn’t know about her violent history (something I find hard to believe) and my source says it was the blogs that alerted them to it.
Whatever the case, Bravo doesn’t want to be held accountable by any of the other cast members if Marlo decides she wants to ‘slash a bish’ in the face…. again.
Oh… and what did Marlo get out of all of this?
A HELLUVA lot of free stuff!
Photoshoots, VIP status around town, designer clothes and services from folks who just want to be associated with the show in some way.
Oh! And I almost forgot… she got a walk on role on the highest rated show on television to kiss NeNe Leakes’ “A”zz and free trip to South Africa.
Way to go Marlo!
The Real housewives of Atlanta is the highest rated of all the housewives franchises and it’s looking like this season will be the best yet!

You would think that a blog site such as this would at least get her name right, it’s MARLO*. She has a closet with a wardrobe that can dress all of the RHOA women everyday for a year straight. She has never received any "free" clothing anywhere. Another thing is, kissing Nene’s azz? That doesn’t even sound like Marlo. Pretending to be engaged to Charles Grant? That was real as well. SHE paid for her first class ticket to Africa, no freebie there sweetie, get it right! Personally, I like the drama she would bring to the show and the addition of a REAL chiK (married or not) living a upscale, glamourous, and progressive lifestyle. I mean to be quite honest, every black person in america over the age of 16 either has a record or will have a record at some point in their life. America is steadily trying to eradicate us all so they should have cut Marlow some slack. Its not like she killed somebody. Appollo stold money and people’s identities. I am from Florida (St.Petersburg to be exact) and I know of Marlo, M-Low has alway been a GO Getta and always carried her self with class. Please believe that she has always had the best of everything and has always been a fasionista, way before people new what it was. She is not just dropping names and wearing designer threads for some reality show. Hell Shree tried that shit, and looked foolish in the end when half her shit was repoed. One of TEAMMARLO people brought up Sheree’s juvenile record and Apollo’s prison stuff but neither of them tried to attack somebody. The way I see it is yes, she’s pretty and dresses fly as hell, but if she’s (a) lying about being engaged to a footballer and (b) a crazy face slasher fights and cuts people with razors and knives, what else is she hiding?
It would make good tv but who wants to carry the burden of someone possibly being killed or permanently scarred like her last victim? Bravo already has 1 death on it’s hands and it’s either clean up the trash or throw out the whole franchise.

I knew Marlow when she was growing up and she did have a very rough childhood. However, somehow her personality shined through as she was cheerful friendly, smart, inquisitive and an outstanding person. She worked very hard to excel and she did. Everyone who knew her was impressed by her. I have all the respect one can have for her. I never knew about her difficulties with the law, but now I see she overcame that too. Way to go Marlow. Don’t let your detractors get you down.

Why not add Marlo? Most people don’t care about her criminal past, especially since despite it she managed to rise above it and make a success of herself. I personally don’t care if she’s married or engaged or single. I like her style. Maybe this will get rid of Kim she adds nothing positive to the show.
