Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has had a ball this summer as she prepared for her lavish ‘do-over’ wedding ceremony to her fake ex-husband Gregg.

The couple finally re-tied the knot last month in Atlanta but now the honeymoon is officially over.

Leakes, who dubbed herself a ‘Rich Bitch* during season 4 of the popular reality show is reportedly being sued for $2.5 million by a well-known Atlanta wedding planner.

RumorFix was first to report that Tiffany Cook of Dream Design Weddings recently filed a lawsuit against the NeNe Leakes.

In the suit, Cook claims the newly REwedded ‘housewife’ promised to pay her 15 percent of the wedding budget, but only paid her an $18,000 down payment.

I would be slacking if I didn’t point out that Tiffany Cook was originally named as Nene’s wedding planner in the original Bravo press releases surrounding Leake’s upcoming wedding spin-off, so she certainly has some connection to the show.

Cook is also most notably known for handling the wedding of Leakes’ co-star Porsha Stewart.

[SIDEBAR: I’m not calling the lawsuit drama ‘bullsh*t (yet) but I’m giving everyone involved the side-eye due to all of the interlinking connections…. but I digress!]

When news of the lawsuit hit the net Saturday, NeNe angrily hit the tweets with the following response:

Nene also attempted to prove her point by tweeting a photo of Tony Conway standing alongside she and Greg at the wedding…

I find it odd that Nene is so vocal online about a pending lawsuit… clearly she’s feeling ‘some kinda way’ about the situation and is pleading her case to the court of public opinion hoping for a favorable response [insert side-eye number 2!]

With Cook’s connection to Porsha, it’s highly possible the drama could be manufactured to prepare you for what’s to come on “I Dream of Nene: The Wedding” but whatever the case, the wedding they?re battling about will be featured on Nene’s Bravo spin-off beginning September 17, 2013 at 9 p.m.
