Meet Jeffery Lamar Williams aka ‘Young Thug‘.

The Atlanta-based rapper is totally living up to his stage name. Young Thug posed for the mugshot above after he was arrested for threatening to shoot a security guard at Perimeter Mall in Atlanta.

Thug, 23, was arrested early Wednesday morning, July 15, at 6 a.m. after the incident, which reportedly occurred on July 7th.

The U.S. Marshals Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force was on hand to aid Dunwoody, Georgia police in serving the warrant, and they raided his home searching for undisclosed items.

Young Thug was booked at the DeKalb County Jail yesterday but it appears that was all a ploy to get him in custody! The popular rapper has also been named in an indictment stemming from that Lil Wayne bus shooting that occurred a few months ago.
