The Goodie Mob is back together again and all is right with the world!!? Yesterday all four members climbed aboard a “Special” MARTA bus assigned to tour nothing but the southside. *sigh* The memories…?? Besides the fact the I was having my own personal flashbacks about Mays High circa 1997 1987 *cough* oops I mean…hell y’all already know I been around these parts for quite some time. I ain’t shame! But besides all that, T-Mo, Khujo, Gipp & Cee-Lo each had their own personal stories to tell about life growing up on the southside of Atlanta.

DJ Drama was designated as MARTA bus M.C and announced each stop in his signature fashion. Tour stops included The Rec at West Manor Park, Mays High School and of course the infamous “Dungeon” where the ATLien’s spit rhymes and created those soulful beats that our city is so famous for.
Goodie Mob take a moment to reflect in front of the “Dungeon” ~ Rico Wade’s now vacant home.
The final stop woulda/shoulda been Greenbriar Mall but I think we dwelled a lil too long in front of Rico Wade’s former diggs. The house which holds many memories of Dungeon Family antics now sits vacant and lonely. I have a special place in my heart for Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston because of all their cracky antics around the city of Atlanta. And anyone who knows me is aware of how I feel about how Whitney blames Bobby for her downfall. (Click Here to watch Whitney’s revelations about Bobby on Oprah).
Bobby was just a young piece of meat when he got caught up with Whitney and it’s my personal assumption that she molded HIM into the man he is today. No one knows the truth about the situation but Whitney & Bobby but all I’m sayin is….don’t let Whitney’s new teeth fool you.
Bobby felt the need to respond to his ex-wife recently and I don’t think he’s willing to take the blame for corrupting the multi-billion dollar corporation that is “Whitney Houston.”? Bobby says that contrary to popular belief it wasn’t all his fault…they “corrupted each other.”? Bobby seemed quite clean & sober in the video, as well as diplomatic. I give him mad props for keepin it classy…. this time.

Lil Mama recently reveals that she had absolutely no idea that Jay-Z didn’t want her onstage with he and Alicia Keys during the closing performance of the 2009 MTV VMAs. Even though he tapped her on the leg and even though she heard him say something bout “T-Pain-ing” (a reference to rapper T-Pain hoppin onstage unsolicited during a previous Jay-Z performance of D.O.A.). Lil Mama says she didn’t realize anything was wrong until she saw the video later.? She also issued (yet another) apology to Jay-Z:
To Jay in Particular, as a Brooklyn native (whom I am also)…in that moment there was nothing but respect and honor. It was a joyous moment. Whenever we share happiness or celebration…I mean that’s how a reaction takes place usually and it’s graceful. It’s never to disrespect you know. And I meant no harm. I was enjoying myself and I was enjoying his performance.

I told you a few months ago that the “secret” video Chris Brown was filming was actually for Ester Dean’s hot new track “Drop It Low” well here’s the proof. Polow Da Don’s newest artist has a hot single which is included on the “More Than A Game” soundtrack. I don’t know about you, but I’m feeling a bit of Kanye overload right now. But since I’m all for the people, I thought I’d share this transcript and video of Kanye’s 3rd apology on Jay Leno. They kind of back out at the last minute, or they have a publicist or someone call and say, ?Oh, I?m sorry, my client?s not available.? So thank you for coming and doing this, in light of all the things that have been going on.

I just ? just dealing with the fact that I hurt someone or took anything away, you know, from a talented artist or from anyone, because I only wanted to help people.
