Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas is looking for love in what is now the mainstream route. She’s hitting VH1 for a reality show. It’s been said that if you truly love something set it free, if it’s meant to be yours it’ll return to you. Well…maybe just maybe Usher will heed the call since he’s just about single now. Wouldn’t THAT be a great show!?? Especially since Chilli appears to be keeping the door open for her former flame! In a recent Essence interview, she admits that she’s leaving THAT in the lord’s hands. When asked if there were any chance of a reconciliation between she and Ursh, Chilli states:
I don?t know. You never know. Only the good Lord knows that. If it?s meant for us to stay apart, we will, and if it?s meant to be the other way, somehow in the future it may happen.
Sounds promising. As a single mom with responsibilties, Chilli has set a few ground rules for her new show, specificially none of that Flavor Flav kissing on the mouth stuff! She also states that her contestants will not all live in the same house and she’s not limiting herself to one race.
I’m open to all men and all Black women should be. You may miss out on the man of your dreams because you are trying to stick with a brother.
Chilli admits that her standards have been a bit extreme, but she’s willing to step back and let VH1 take the reigns.
I’m hard on guys, that’s why I said maybe I do need a little help from VH1. I also know I have avoided many werewolves being tough. As a celebrity and just a woman who takes care of herself, you have to be very careful. Guys talk more than we do. I can go on a lunch date, and the guy spins it to something else, and that includes celebrities. All of that turned me off from dating. Now I am at the point to open up again. It’s also important to be able to enjoy your own company and I love my space. I do hope to get married one day, and when I do?I still hope to enjoy being alone. Hopefully I will connect with somebody on this show. We already know ultimately who everyone wants me with (laughs).

Now if VH1 can get Usher on the show, THAT my friends, would be a hit! All joking aside, if YOU are a single male interested in Chilli you may actually have a shot. VH1 is still casting for the show and you may actually be the man she’s looking for. Don’t let the thought of Usher scare you off. ((You can do it!)) The divorce is final…Usher is celebrating…and Tameka Foster Glover Raymond is still steppin in sh*t! Via RhymesWithSnitch:
Yesterday on the Tom Joyner Morning show gossip columnist Jawn Murray devoted almost his entire segment to going in on Usher’s ex-wife Tameka after she referred to him as a disreputable journalist in a Global Grind blog. Jawn talked about how much of a nobody Tameka is and how all she got to show for her marriage to Usher is a botched tummy tuck and a empty purse.
It was a real roast-fest, but the most interesting bit of tea spilt from Jawn’s rant was his threat to expose audio of Tameka trying to use him to make Usher look bad before their divorce plans became public and before she got pregnant with their second child [Tameka’s fifth].

According to BV’s Jawn Murray, Usher has finally got that monkey off his back! The Raymond’s divorce has been finalized quietly and a settlement has been reached:
Singer Usher Raymond is officially back to being a bachelor.
BV Buzz has learned that the 30-year-old singer’s divorce from his wife, Tameka Foster, has been finalized and an agreement was reached in a pre-court settlement. The camps aren’t talking now ? likely preparing to give an exclusive to a media outlet like People magazine ? but I hear an official announcement should drop soon.
A rep for the singer did not answer a detailed request for comment.
The divorce was officially filed in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior court on June 12, 2009 (Read: Usher/Tameka Drama Unfolds [Official Documents]) and Tameka claimed she had no idea it was coming.? You’ve probably seen the photos of a smiling Usher Raymond chillin in St. Tropez, well Ursh has called in the big dogs, specifically Snoop Dogg, to aid in his divorce celebration.? Snoop, who’s still married I must add, showed Usher some old school lessons on how to relax and shake off the drama.

TFGR can’t catch a break! After being outed for “borrowing” content for her essay on being a dark-skinned woman in America, Tameka went on a twitter rampage where she blasted the author who accused her of stealing her words:
The one quote that I found most interesting was:
?To steal ideas from one person is called PLAGAIRISM, to steal ideas from many is research.? ~ Unknown Ppl seek claim & fame by any means!
Someone please tell Tameka that to steal ideas at all is still STEALING! It’s really like a half-assed confession to say “yeah… I stole from you and several others but it was RESEARCH not plagairism…” *sigh* Just give the chick her credit and move on…
Meka also wrote a full explanation over at Global Grind where she gave the credit for her inspiration to several well-known Black authors including Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Alex Haley, Susan Taylor, Khalil Gibran, Langston Hughes, Frederick Douglass and Zora Neale Hurston. She still failed to mention Aisha Curry but I guess her pride stands in the way.? Stay tuned….
