‘Fourth of November’ celebrated the launch of their artist series initiative with an exclusive fashion and artist showcase, held in Atlanta last Thursday evening (March 24, 2016).
Guests enjoyed libations, an assortment of eats?and a tour?of Fourth of November’s curated pieces and collection hosted by? co- owner Kareem “Biggs” Burke,?formerly of Roc-A-Fella Records.

Orlando McGhee?s Seventy 2 Music in partnership with the City of Atlanta presented a special VIP screening of ‘The Art Of Organized Noize’ last night (March 18, 2016).
The event was held at SCADshow and guest were treated to a viewing of the upcoming Netflix documentary that details the rise of the legendary ‘Organized Noize’ production team (Rico Wade, Ray Murray, and Sleepy Brown).
There was also an informative Q&A session moderated by Kawan “KP” Prather (Music Exec – ‘I Am Other’ – Pharell Williams’ Label) and Catherine Brewton (BMI).

It was OutKast’s first concert in seven years and needless to say, the performance was highly anticipated worldwide. Longtime fans weren’t expecting any surprise guests but there were several ready, willing an waiting to hit the stage.
Dre and Big brought out a few quests: Sleepy Brown and rapper Future and Janelle Monae.
Apparently due to a schedule change, the time was changed and the set started late. The legendary group had to cut at least 4 songs from their set list and to make matters worse, there was a 1am PCT cut off time that caused Killer Mike’s performance to abruptly cut.
(Yeah… we’re all still a bit pissed off about that.)
But despite all of their challenges the group still managed to pull off a historic one hour, and 32 minute performance.

Word on the curb is that Atlanta-based rap group Nappy Roots, the five-man hip hop collective responsible for the multi-platinum smash Watermelon, Chicken & Gritz, is currently at Dungeon East Studios working with the Organized Noize production team on a new CD.
In case you didn’t know, Organized Noize is the multi-platinum-selling award-winning trio consisting of Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown that helped shape Southern Hip Hop with OutKast?s ground breaking Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik album.
Rico Wade explains:
We?ve been credited with creating the ?Sound of the South,? and Nappy Roots is considered the ?Conscience of the South,? so it?s great that Nappy wanted to work with us.
People are going to be impressed by this album.?
Nappy Roots’ new project marks the first time the trio has worked on an entire album in quite some time. Nappy Roots rapper Skinny DeVille speaks on the excitement of working with the legendary production team:
It?s an honor to be working with legends like Organized Noize. Nappy Roots is a family and Organized Noize is like our older cousins that we haven?t seen in a while, so the [sessions are] like a family reunion.
We stayed true to ourselves, but Organized Noize has pushed our limits and taken the music to the next level.
