Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta may not know how many days are in a year but she apparently knows how to count dough.

Just last week Kordell Stewart reportedly surprised, Porsha Stewart, his wife of 22 months by abruptly filing a divorce petition in Atlanta’s Fulton County Superior Court.

Many have speculated but no one knows for sure what exactly sparked Kordell’s decision to fill dem papers (cue Usher) but there’s been lots of talk abut Kordell’s “extracurricular” activities, especially since he’s reportedly refusing to give Porsha any type of alimony or spousal support.

In keeping with all the he say/she say, Porsha has hired Atlanta attorney Randy Kessler (who coincidentally filed Nene & Greg’s divorce, which we all know was on paper only… but I digress), to handle the situation and through her attorney she is now asking for monetary compensation for sacrificing almost 2 years under Kordell’s reign of terror roof.

You may have heard by now that Kordell Stewart, the husband of Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has filed for divorce from his reality show wife.

What’s most bizarre about this entire situation is that Porsha found out about Kordell’s filings only after people began tweeting her asking her about it…. at least that’s what I’ve heard.

Porsha confirmed the rumor mill in a statement issued through her publicist, who says that the real “housewife” found out through the blawgs about her husband’s divorce petition and that she was totally caught off guard.

Mrs. Stewart had held off on filing for a divorce herself and remained committed to the marriage because Mr. Stewart promised to work on the marriage with her.

Instead, he misled her and she found out about the filing in the media. Mrs. Stewart hopes to resolve these personal issues privately with the support of her family, friends and strong faith.

On the flip side, Kordell has pretty much said that he’s D.O.N.E. and if you think that Porsha is getting away with a “seven figure divorce settlement’…. think again!

Porsha Stewart of The Real Housewives of Atlanta played a game of blackjack with her marriage and lost big time!

Reality television has been known to expose things that would normally remain hidden to the naked eye (i.e. Porsha’s booty poppin video days), so it’s no surprise that the genre is once again responsible for breaking up yet another “happy” home.

We all witnessed Kordell Stewart’s “controlling” ways during season 5 of RHOA and even a bit of his past came to light (click HERE if you missed that).??
