Male supermodel Tyson Beckford and television personality Toya Wright played co-hosts to Rolling Out’s ‘Men of Power and Influence Awards’ last Thursday evening (December 13, 2012).
Atlanta?s trendsetters gathered at Atlanta’s Twelve Ballroom at Atlantic Station to honor several of Atlanta’s own ‘Men of Power & Influence,” which consisted of entertainment mogul and philanthropist Michael Mauldin, Atlanta city councilman Kwanza Hall, DeKalb County commissioner Lee May, Grammy Award-winning producer Shondrae ?Bangladesh? Crawford, rapper and songwriter Roscoe Dash, founding and managing partner of Edmond & Lindsay LLP Rod Edmond, Coca-Cola executive Mark Pitts, V-103 radio host and restaurateur Frank Ski, Olympic gold medalist Angelo Taylor, NCAA and NBA champion Derek Anderson, Emmy Award-winning CNN journalist and anchor Don Lemon, Dr. William Jelani Cobb and professor Nathan McCall at the Ford sponsored event.
Legendary music producer Jermaine Dupri was among the honorees but unable to attend; his father Michael Mauldin graciously accepted the award on his behalf.
