Lil Wayne’s hot new protege Shanell is totally blowing everyone away during the America’s Most Wanted tour! Shanell aka SNL (sister of former Danity Kane member D. Woods) is so talented that she’s on tour with heavyweights like Wayne and Young Jeezy without even an album out! She does, however, have a new mixtape coming out soon and is also set to release a full album in 2010. Shanell performed her new song “Play in my Band” onstage and showcased her starpower.

Drake and Lil Wayne were performing ?Best I Ever Had? when Drake was moving across the stage and did a spin move?he must have turned his already-injured knee while spinning, because Drake suddenly collapsed on the stage. ?He put his head down because he was in so much pain,? and then 4 guys ran out on the stage and had to carry him off. Lil Wayne was left onstage in a state of confusion.
Sources say that Weezy then said to the stunned crowd, ?Damn, I knew that n?a?s knee was bad, but I didn?t know it was that bad! I thought he was just in a wheelchair on T.V.? [really?!]
Then Wayne had to keep the show going, so he performed ?Mrs. Officer,? with Shanell and T. Streets (normally, Drake performs the song with Wayne.), and then ?Every Girl In the World,? again, sans Drake.
Meanwhile, backstage, paramedics cordoned off a section and were examining the injured star.
The day after the fall, Wayne announced that Drake would not be performing. “I must let you know, we had a technical difficulty yesterday,” Wayne said of Drake’s status. “The n—a fell.” Weezy went on to say Drake injured yet another ligament in his leg. “He goes in surgery tomorrow,” Wayne said. “This is for my n—a Drake.”
Wayne also asked the audience to pray for his friend. Organizers for the tour have not put out a statement yet about Drake’s tour status, but Drizzy did tweet Miss Info after the fall: “All is well … On the bus laying down … Getting surgery this week but I’m walking. Thank my whole YM family for the help. Lion Hearts!” (source)

Lil Wayne’s Ex recently addressed his controversial BET Awards show performance where he performed “Every Girl” while his daughter and other underaged girls danced onstage:
I Antonia ? Toya? Carter have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single ?Every Girl?. I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed.
Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.
KodakBoi spotted the Nivea (aka Lil Wayne Baby Mama #5 or is it #4? I’ve lost count) at an artist’s showcase Tuesday night in Atlanta. KodakBoi states that although Nivea isn’t about to pop she is definitely preggers. So add her to the list:
