The world awaits Empire‘s return to the airwaves for their season 2 premiere, but there’s at least one person who’s clearly not a fan of Lee Daniels, the popular show’s co-creator.
In a recent interview about the upcoming premiere, Daniels comments on Howard’s domestic struggles, stating:
“[Terrence] ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s some f?in’ demon,”
That’s a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America.”
Apparently actor Sean Penn didn’t appreciate the?comparison and he has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Daniels seeking damages for defamation.

According to several online sources, the power couple is knee deep in debt with the Internal Revenue Service for unpaid income taxes and now several liens have been filed on their properties.
Nick Gordon, the brother/lover/fake husband of Bobbi Kristina Brown, is speaking out against claims that he was responsible her death.

In amended court papers filed last Friday in Fulton County Superior Court, Bobbi Kristina’s court-appointed representative claimed Gordon struck the aspiring singer and gave her a “toxic cocktail” shortly before she was found unconscious on Jan. 31.
The wrongful death suit, which seeks at least $10 million in damages,?alleges Gordon put Bobbi Kristina face down in a tub of cold water in her suburban Atlanta home, causing her to suffer brain damage.
Gordon hasn’t been officially charged in relation to Bobbi Kristina’s death, so Gordon’s attorneys have issued a statement on his behalf calling?the lawsuit is “slanderous and meritless.”
