Atlanta high school basketball legend and current NBA baller, Dwight Howard has officially filed a defamation lawsuit against his baby mama accusing her of cyber-bashing. Howard, alumni of Atlanta’s Southwest Atlanta Christian Academy and Orlando Magic center, has filed lawsuits in Orange County, Fla. and seeks a huge amount of damages that he he knows she can’t pay all because his baby moms vents about him online.
In recently revealed court documents, Howard (who originally denied the case) is seeking $9.2 million in damages against Royce Reed, the mother of his 2 year old son. The suit alleges that Reed violated an agreement they made that disparaging comments made directly or indirectly against Howard would not be made or published via the internet or any other communication mediums. Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Jonathan Babineaux, was arrested Thursday evening in Gwinnett County and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.
Gwinnett police stopped Babineaux, 28, and another man, 25-year-old Aaron Robinson of Minneapolis, about 10:45 p.m. Thursday as they drove north on I-85 in Babineaux’s 2005 Cadillac Escalade EXT. An officer searched the SUV after he noticed the distinct odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and found a total of 40 grams of the drug in three separate bags.
