A Chicago teacher is under investigation and may face a lawsuit after she took a photo of one of her seven-year-old pupils’ hairstyle.
Of course taking the photo wasn’t the issue.
It was the teacher posting the student’s picture to her Facebook page and her making fun of the little girl’s candy laced african-american hairstyle, that made it a problem.

Well according to a study by Men’s Health, if you’re in the “A” you’re probably tweeting or facebooking right now – just like my friend @UbringMeJoi in the photo above!
Atlanta ranks as the second most socially networked city in the United States and falls right in behind Washington, D.C., while Denver, Minneapolis and Seattle round out the top five.
The number of people Facebook and LinkedIn users per capita, followed by Twitter users. Online traffic generated from sites such as Myspace, Friendster, Reddit, Digg and chat rooms also were included in the research.
According to the AJC, the study doesn’t identify specific reasons we’re more wired than others. But our number could be larger due to our ever-grinding hip-hop community and the amount of colleges and universities in the area.
It also doesn’t hurt that Atlanta is considered a recent “it” city status among filmmakers.
Facebook is so popular these days that just about everyone has their own lil? profile… but the next time you update your status, your “friends” may not be the only ones watching!
While you’re posting photos of your brand new Porsche or of you and your friends popping bottles in the club, consider who’s keeping track of that information.
What if one of your new Facebook “friends” started posting reminders on your wall that you should pay your bills? Would you cuss them out and keep it moving?
OK… How about a debt collector contacted your family members’ via Facebook asking them to deliver you a message? Or perhaps hit up one of your former classmates inquiring about you?
