Reality star Shekinah Jo Anderson, best friend of Tameka “Tiny’ Harris, recently posted a very disturbing image online after a domestic violence incident.
Shekinah also decided to deactivate her Instagram page after receiving a slew of comments criticizing her decision to post the photo.
I recently spoke with Shekinah about the disturbing incident and she revealed that her Instagram post was merely her only option of getting help at the time.

Just one day after an explosive new video surfaced showing Ray Rice hitting his then-fianc?e, Janay Palmer, in the face in a hotel elevator, prompting the Baltimore Ravens to release the running back and the NFL to increase his suspension from two games to indefinite, the victim of the knockout has decided to defend her man!

Janay Rice, the wife of the embattled ball player, was featured in the video being knocked unconscious by her then-future husband, but that didn’t stop her from marrying him.
Now Janay’s proclaiming to the world how she really feels about the situation.? For the record, the Baltimore Ravens already knew her position but caught a ton of flack when they posted their tweet about it yesterday:
The Ravens deleted their tweet after the online backlash received, but now Janay herself has stated how she feels about the incident that has now cost her husband his lucrative pro-football job.
After all, Rice ‘stood’ by Janay after he knocked her out on that elevator floor, didn’t he? Loyalty over everything!

The new clip shows the full February 15, 2014 confrontation that occurred between the Baltimore Ravens running back and his then-fiancee, Janay Rice (formerly Janay Palmer).
In the footage, the pair can be seen entering the elevator and are in what appears to be a heated argument.
Ray Rice initiates contact and Janay Rice strikes back, only to be hit with a devastating punch that leaves her unconscious. Rice then drags her limp body out of the elevator, which is where the previously released footage picks up.
The NFL had originally suspended Rice from playing in the first two games of the season, but after the full video surfaced, they chose a different route and it appears he will be ‘suspended indefinitely’ from the team.

A local Minibar in Texas found itself in the middle of a domestic violence controversy after an employee thought it would be funny to share a joke about domestic violence.
An employee of the bar posted a sign outside the bar that read, “I like my beer like I like my violence: domestic.”

Had it not been for an Austin resident sharing a picture of the disturbing sign on Facebook and Instagram, we may have never known about the sign, but one did… and the post grabbed national attention.
I walked by the sign on Friday night, and my first response was just anger
I currently am a volunteer at the women’s shelter in Austin, so my sensitivity is extra high, but I think my reaction would have been the same regardless. Not only was it offensive, but it was also just bad humor.
