Earl Simmons aka “DMX” is in deep doo-doo with the Federal government!
U.S. Attorney Joon H. Kim hit the tweets with the following announcement about the rapper’s tax difficulties and even referenced one of his popular songs:
The rapper has reportedly been arrested for ?engaging in a multi-year scheme? to hide his income, and withholding at least $1.7 million in taxes from earnings he made between 2002 and 2005.

Check out Earl “DMX” Simmon’s latest mug shot.
DMX posed for the handsome photo in Arizona earlier this month, where he is currently serving time. As previously reported, X was jailed back in November for failing to check in with his probation officer.
This latest shot brings Earl’s grand total of mug shots to TWELVE, which is also the number of months he has to serve on the probation violation charges.

The Arizona court handed down the year-long sentence against the rapper last week. He will be given credit for the 113 days he’s already served.
Simmons, 39, was arrested last month after he allegedly failed to submit to drug testing and drove on a suspended license. He initially denied the allegations and was held without bond. He was placed on probation last year after convictions for attempted aggravated assault for throwing a food tray at a jail guard, and theft for trying to using a fake name to avoid paying a $7,500 hospital bill.

Earl “DMX” Simmons obviously has a thing for the prison system. Simmons has been arrested and is currently back behind bars… again!

According to FoxPhoenix, DMX was arrested in Arizona on Thursday (November 18) for a felony charge of violating probation.
Simmons, has a long history with breaking the law in Maricopa County, with this being his 6th arrest in the area. But let’s not forget his stints in L.A., where he was busted for reckless driving or his historic episode in Miami-Dade County, where he cursed out a judge in court.
This time X was arrested for violating the terms of his probation, including checking in with his probation officer.
DMX was on parole in Maricopa after a 2009 assault conviction. In that case, DMX was charged with assaulting an officer in the Maricopa County jail while he was serving time for another incident.
I think it’s way past time for DMX to sit his “A”zz down!
In related news, DMX recently released a new single, produced by Swizz Beatz and featuring Busta Rhymes, entitled “Y’all Don’t Really Know” where he says he’s “tired of being a n**ga that they keep behind bars.” Ummm… yeah. OK.

Po Earl… he can’t catch a break! The embattled rapper is back in a Phoenix, Arizona jail after vowing never to set foot in that town again!
DMX (real name Earl Simmons) was was arrested in Arizona Tuesday (March 9th) for violating terms of his probation. According to Arizona News, DPS’s gang enforcement unit arrested Simmons at his probation officer’s office, for allegedly being in possession of crack cocaine.
He appeared in front of a judge and was booked on five counts of probation violation and exploded in court accusing the Phoenix sheriff department of violating his civil rights. I must have missed that law that gives us the right to bear rocks…but I digress.
