According to FreddyO, Keyshia Cole’s lil sis, Elite Noel is striving to follow in her big sister’s footsteps by becoming a singer. Elite, who has appeared on BET alongside Keyshia’s mom Frankie Lons & sister Neffe Pugh, is rumored to be next up on the reality show train with a new spin-off series featuring she & Neffe’s stylist Dariel.? As if that wasn’t enought, Elite recently dropped a youtube video where she asking for input on starting a singing career.? She performs an original song called “Sex and Play” and it appears she’s also been taking a few risque’ photos in preparation for that upcoming album cover.

Beware! Facebook Can Get You FIRED!

This social networking this is way outta control. First a MARTA bus driver gets suspended after a passenger twitpics him using his cell and now a teacher has been forced to resign over Facebook photos! Ashley Payne, a former Georgia high school teacher is smack dab in the middle of the most recent social networking controversy. Payne was forced to resign, after school administrators questioned the material posted on her Facebook page. Payne says she had pictures of her trip to Europe on the site and wrote about a game she plays with friends. She says none of the material was inappropriate, but a parent complained about a picture of her holding a drink in her hand.

I had no idea how a parent could have seen something like that on my page cause I had everything set to private. I wasn’t friends with any students. I didn’t give any access to students or parents.

A group of music industry Presidents and CEO’s convened on Hotel Palomar in midtown Atlanta last weekend to celebrate a reunion of sorts.? L.A. Reid, Steve Bartels, Bu Thiam, Devyne Stephens, Young Jeezy, Usher Raymond, Dallas Austin and more music industry decision makers all joined each other for an evening of fine dining at the hotel’s Pacci Ristorante for the annual “Dinner With The President”.

Super entertainment attorney and my personal hero Phaedra Parks got married last weekend in a private ceremony in Buckhead. Pictured above from right to left is Dwight Eubanks from The Real Housewives of Atlanta who served as Wedding planner/Director, the beautiful bride Phaedra Parks, Me (ATLien of StraightFromTheA.com), Tracey Baker-Simmons (TV producer-Welcome to Dreamland, Being Bobby Brown), and Ted Lucas (music mogul CEO and founder of Slip N’ Slide Records-Plies, Rick Ross, Trina & ?Trick Daddy).

Flix/Video ~ Big Boi’s Big Kidz Foundation Halloween Party

Antwan “Big Boi” Patton held his annual Halloween party at Stankonia Studios last weekend with an open bar and plenty of soul food for the crew. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the Big Kidz Foundation, which is Twan’s non-profit organization established?to nurture the intellect of youth by providing them with culturally diverse experiences. Talk about partying with a purpose! This shindig went on til the wee hours of the morning in the Courvoisier Lounge and spread throughout the entire studio.

You may also recognize Big Boi’s “costume.” He states that he was “Dick Fury” (a spin off of DF/Dungeon Family) but my first impression was George Jefferson.
