For those of you who still want a glimpse of Marlo Hampton, the former background character on last season’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta, she was recently spotted attending ATLLive on The Park (November 13, 2012).
Hampton, pictured above with the event’s co-creator, Marlon Nichols, donned her familial designer duds as she enjoyed musical performances from Yweda, Brian Davis and Anthony David.
Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘s Joseline Hernandez & Stevie J were spotted boo’d up at the August edition of ATL Live on the Park a few days ago (August 13, 2012).
The reality show couple, who posed alongside Devyne Stephens & Shanti Daas, were among the who’s who of Atlanta during the monthly music showcase.
Guests were treated to a surprise performance by actor/singer/comedian/television personality Wayne Brady. Brady, a Georgia native, returned to his home state to perform new music from his untitled album scheduled for release February 2013.
Others spotted at the event include Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, LaTocha Scott (formerly of Xscape), Jazze Pha, Lisa Borders, comedian Rodney Perry, RHOA Peter Thomas, 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist Angel McCoughtry, Bobby V and more.
The one time I wear flats, I stand next to tall “A”zz Keri Hilson! *sigh* It doesn’t matters though because it was fun times in the “A” as ATL Live on the Park continued it’s monthly music event last night (May 15, 2012).
Season 3 of Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols’ live musical extravaganza jumped off with an explosive set of performances, which included headliner R&B sensation Tank, who serenaded the audience with past hits and his latest single from his fifth studio album, “This is How I Feel.”
Guests also enjoyed a performance by R&B legendary soul singer Case, who just so happened to have serenaded me personally a few days ago, as well as a surprise performance from RL (formerly of NEXT), J. Holiday, and Brandon of Jagged Edge
Notables included: Peter Thomas (RHOA), Keri Hilson, Kenny Burns, Tameka Raymond, Radio personality Egypt Sherrod, former Source magazine executive Benzino, Stevie J (a current LHH Atlanta cast member) and more.
Last Tuesday evening, Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols presented the return of ATL Live on the Park – Season 3, a monthly live music series featuring performances by high-profile R&B artists and emerging talents.
The event, hosted by lifestyle specialist Kenny Burns, was held at the Park Tavern; an indoor/outdoor venue overlooking Atlanta’s historic Piedmont Park.
Several popular guests, including A&R Executive Coach K, RHOA cast member and entrepreneur Peter Thomas, DJ Mars, up and coming pop group the Yes Ma?ams, and more were spotted mingling about while DJ Trauma kept the music flowing between acts.
Guests were treated to a musical montage of live music featuring MySpace music sensation Mateo, R&B extraordinaire Ray Lavender (you may also remember Ray as one of the contestants on that Omarosa dating show), and special guest performer, singer/songwriter/pianist Avery Sunshine.
The Atlanta music series ATL Live on the Park was held last night at Park Tavern and if you FOLLOW ME on Twitter, you may have noticed my series of #awkwardmoment tweets…
You’ve probably never seen a “Sean Garrett” post on SFTA and I wasn’t going to do one this time.
That is… until Gyant used my “Awkward Moment” tweets as inspiration for an open letter to Garrett…. and well, I couldn’t have said it better myself. *sigh*
Sheree Whitfield, Tameka Raymond, Q Parker, NEXT, Fonzworth Bentley, former Falcons Bob Whitfield & Jamal Anderson were just a few of the hometown faves spotted at ATL Live On The Park last week.
Event producers Shanti Das and Marlon Nichols did a wonderful job bring together over 300 Atlanta tastemakers and music industry insiders to celebrated the One-Year Anniversary of the event, held at Park Tavern in midtown.
Heralded as the most exclusive live music showcase in the city author/musician Fonzworth Bentley wowed the crowd with his expertly choreographed routine and R&B group NEXT reunited as headliners of the hot show.
When RL spotted 112’s Q Parker sitting in the audience alongside his wife Sherlinda, he handed him the mic urging him to sing a few bars.
Q first sung a lick while sitting but soon hit the stage, giving the hyped crowed a brief 112 flashback…
