Zimmerman claims in a lawsuit filed by his attorney that the case against him rested on false evidence and is alleging abuse of civil process and conspiracy.

Zimmerman has recently been charged with stalking a private investigator who was working on a documentary related to the fatal shooting of the teen.
The misdemeanor stalking charge was filed in March in Seminole County Court and alleges that Zimmerman stalked, harassed, cyberstalked and even threatened the investigator with bodily harm.
