Flix/Video ~ T.I.’s Farewell Concert

In a bittersweet performance, T.I. held his farewell concert Sunday night at Atlanta’s Philip’s arena. As he was surrounded by his family and friends Tip held down the stage for over 2 hours while performing for a sold out venue.? As I post this, the superstar is headed to Arkansas where he is to report to prison to serve his jailtime on weapons charges by noon today. At Sunday’s concert, Tip told told the crowd not to worry and stated “I’ll see you in 366 days” as he left the stage.

Chicago Larry is back! I know ya’ll remember me telling you he’s on a mission to secure his own spot on TV…well, this time he’s dragged Trey Songz into one of his hilarious videos. Larry and Trey chopped it up for a bit and he even got Trey to sing a verse acapella.? Yet again, Larry’s proved that he is television ready.? Get ready to laugh!

Free At Last! ~ Mike Vick’s Homecoming

Former Atlanta Falcon’s quarterback Michael Vick returned to his Virginia Home this morning after being released from federal prison. He will serve the remainder of his sentence on home confinement and may try to resume his professional football career.

Four cars pulled up to Vick?s five-bedroom brick home at the end of a cul-de-sac at about 8:25 a.m Thursday. The caravan was led by a black Kia Sedona with curtains shielding the back seat from view and sunshields on the front side windows. Vick was in the Sedona along with his fiancee, Kijafa Frink, said Chris Garrett, a member of Vick?s support and legal team.

He was also greeted by his 19 month old daughter (London) who was born just weeks prior to the start of his sentence.

Mike was fitted with an electronic monitoring device, which he’ll wear for the two months he spends under home confinement. He and law officials walked outside on his back deck briefly to make sure the device was working properly. Mike will spend the next two months being monitored at home but has been permitted to work outside the home as a construction laborer wtih WM Jordon Construction in Virginia. He will be a $10 hourly employee for at least the next two months. The job is part of his probation, but of course his ultimate goal is to return to the NFL. Hopefully he’ll be given the opportunity, since he has paid for his crime.? (Source 1 and 2)

Rihanna was spotted at Island Def Jam’s Spring Collection Party last night (May 20th) as she was presented with a recording achievement plaque for selling 12 million records since her debut album Music of the Sun by Island Def Jam Music Group Chairman L.A. Reid. After being credited with having the “best bod in the biz” since her nude flix hit the net, Rihanna seems to be taking it all in stride.? She was even spotted lip-locking with sexy “A”zz Drake at a NY city strip club.

The Barbadian beauty showed up with a group of friends Monday at Lucky Strike Lanes & Lounge on West 42nd Street, but spent most of the night locking lips with Canadian former child actor-turned-rapper Aubrey “Drake” Graham. “She was drinking whiskey and apple juice and making out with him all night,” says a spy. “They were really cute together.” (Source)

Drake has since hit the radio airwaves to say that although they were in the same spot…tales of them swapping spit just aren’t true:

Michel’le Gets “Nicety” w/ Suge Knight in Child Support Case

Remember Michel’le from back in the day? The singer had a squeaky, high-pitched speaking voice which totally changed once she opened her mouth to sing. Anyway, the old school singer has filed child support charges against her ex-hubby, Marion Suge Knight and is seeking over $40,000 of unpaid court-order spousal and child support for their 7 year old daughter, Balei (pictured above):

Singer Michel?le?has filed child support charges against her Ex-husband Marion Suge Knight, reports the Wall Street Journal. Michel?le is asking for $40,476 in three-months of unpaid court-ordered spousal and?child support.? In addition to the $40,476,?she is asking that she receive $13,492 in child support each month for?her?child Balei, whom she had with?the former head of Death Row records?seven years ago. In 1997, Toussaint ?agreed to marry Knight while he was serving a prison sentence for assault and battery.? Soon after Bailei?s birth in 2002, her? relationship with Suge Knight ended.

In the coming months, Michel?le will be? heading to bankruptcy court since?Suge?is believed to be bankrupt; Suge filed for bankruptcy?three years ago.

Michel?le?also has another son named Marcel, with whom she had with rapper/producer?Dr. Dre. (Source)

A lot of people are surprised to hear of Michel’le’s links to both Dre and Suge but she and Dre were in a longterm relationship way before he even left the World Class Wrecking Crew. Michel’le was even featured on a WCWC song, “Turn off the lights” and her 1st CD album was produced by her then boyfriend Dre. I’m almost positive her relationship with the both of them was one of the factors in Death Row’s demise.
