Fonzworth Bentley (pictured above with producer Bangladesh, Will Packer (Rainforest Films) and Kenny Burns) hosted the Atlanta leg of the 2009 Gillette Men of Style Awards last night at the Geisha House in Atlantic Station. Bentley also hit up Good Day Atlanta to explain the tour and the importance of barbers and great grooming:

The Gillette Men of Style honorees included Bernard Bronner (Publisher, Upscale Magazine), Mark Hayes (Good Day Atlanta), Frank SKi (V103 Frank & Wanda Morning Show), the 2 Live Stews (790 the Zone/ ESPN), Will Packer (Rainforest Films), Ryan Cameron (V103 and Atlanta Hawks announcer), Big Boi (Outkast) and Lance Gross (actor).

The Collective Renaissance Guild (CRG), (pictured above with newly elected Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed) held its 2nd Annual Winter Ball at the Persian Galleries last Saturday (December 5, 2009). Special guests included members of Atlanta’s business, entertainment and political communities, along with several celebrities.

This year, CRG honored actress Nicole Ari Parker, Rainforest Films? Will Packer and Rob Hardy for their artistic innovation and their contribution to the growth of Atlanta?s film industry.

Comedian Katt Williams is in the news again fresh off of heels of his recent arrest for forfeiting his bond. Katt was detained by police for several hours yesterday after a disturbance at a Newnan area Walmart.

Police responded to a disturbance call around 2 p.m. Friday afternoon at the Walmart on Bullsboro Drive in Newnan after someone called 911 to report that a man had a gun in the parking lot. They found Katt and several members of his “entourage” arguing in the parking lot of the discount chain. Continue Reading…

Snoop Dogg Reveals Key Player Rules (Video)

Snoop Dogg did an in depth interview with DJ Whoo Kid recently where he spit mad game about love and relationships. The interview was to promote his new CD, Malice in Wonderland, but Snoop went hard about love and relationships. When discussing a few of his favorite artists out right now, Snoop mentioned Trey Songz as one of his favs as well as his homie Usher, who he was spotted chillin with in St. Tropez a few months back.

Now, I could ignore the fact that Snoop went in hard Usher’s ex-wife, but I can’t. In the video, Snoop talks about how impressed he was with Usher’s “Papers” track and even sings his own lil version.
