Loud mouthed NeNe Leakes of Bravos’ The Real Housewives of Atlanta has ambitions of becoming a star and leaving Atlanta behind.? And we totally support her goals!

NeNe is reportedly joining the 2011 cast of Donald Trump’s Celebrity Apprentice, where she’ll compete alongside the likes of Lil Jon and Star Jones.

I’m not sure how well NeNe will do in this competition. If memory serves, these people actually have to come up with ideas to sell a product and judging from the sales of her book, she may not do too well. It should be fun to watch though….

Mother of Suicidal Jumper Thanks God for T.I. + 911 Call Released… [AUDIO]

The mother of the man who threatened a suicide jump credited rapper T.I. with saving her son’s life, and says her son’s problems are real.

“I wish it was a publicity stunt, and that my son wasn?t hurting as bad as he is,” the woman told radio station V-103 during an interview Thursday. “Thank God for T.I.”

T.I. (real name Clifford Harris) is in court today to face probation violation charges stemming from his recent drug arrest. I’ve heard that the prosecutor is trying to label him as a “Level 4 offender” meaning he could get the maximum jail time they are seeking.? In the meantime, Tip has been billed as a hero after his encouraging words thwarted the alleged suicide attempt, as he brought a distraught young man down from a 22-story Atlanta building.

Kareem ?Biggs? Burke, co-founder of Roc-A-Fella Records, which launched the career of superstar rapper Jay-Z, was among 43 people arrested today in a massive drug sweep spanning from New York to South Florida. I guess Miami was on to something when they used Jay’s image as the face of gang activity in Miami.

Many of you assume that Damon Dash and Jay-Z were the only founders of the Roc-A-Fella label. Not so. Kareem ?Biggs? Burke happens to be the founder of the now defunct Roc-A-Fella Records.? People fail to realize that Biggs was one of the key factors of the label?s string of success. He was the lo-key man behind the scenes making sure things turned out right. By 2002, the label dissipated amidst rumors of friction amongst it’s founders.

Because I love all things Dungeon Family, it was hard not to pass up this pic of Big Rube last night on Twitter.? Rube is known for his spoken word intros and interludes for many of the Dungeon Family?s albums, including Outkast, Goodie Mob, Witchdoctor and more.

My personal favorite Rubism is “Love’s Deceit” from the movie ATL but Big Rube spits knowledge to youngsters in the rap game about keeping it really real on “Keep it 1,000″…

Boo’d Up: Drake And….

Drake and his boo (for the night) were spotted at Tongue & Groove last Monday (Oct. 10th). According to SandraRose:

Drake and his date chilled in the VIP, smoking Newports and downing a few drinks before calling it a night. I assume they went back to Drake?s hotel room to make a movie?

It didn’t take long for Drake’s date to be identified, word on the street is that her name is Tanesha aka ?NeNe? and she happens to be the ex-girlfriend of an Atlanta club promoter.

Isn’t it amazing how the same chicks get passed around on the club scene?

Meet the man who apparently stripped nude in attempt to win a million bucks at a rally for President Obama in Philadelphia on Sunday.

As thousands of people gathered to listen to Obama and Vice President Joe Biden energize voters ahead of next month?s election, James Rodriguez, 24, of Staten Island, decided he wanted to show the world his “ASSets”. He was arrested after running near the stage completely naked.

It was later revealed that Rodriguez’ streaking episode was his attempt to pocket some cash. But now the Staten Island man’s quest to win $1 million by streaking in front of President Obama appears to have backfired.

The prank may be on him. Rodriguez, an unemployed painter, took up a challenge made by an Internet billionaire when he ran through a crowd, naked as a jaybird, as Obama was delivering a speech on Sunday at a rally in Germantown.

Only now the billionaire has added an additional requirement before Rodriguez can collect his loot… and it’s not looking like he’s cutting a check any time soon! Continue Reading…
