Big Boi has left the “A” for the sunny skies of California. ?Don’t worry though…he’ll be back. ?SOHH’s Gyant?did a post that reminded me about Big Boi’s venture to LA to shoot a few scenes for Law & Order. I’m sooo sorry you guys. I was so excited about the new Outkast project that it completely slipped my mind. Big Boi is no stranger to acting, appearing in at least 3 films (ATL, Idlewild, Who’s Your Caddy). ?He did his thang in ATL! – “You done hit me in the face with some got-dayum money…!”?
Mr. Patton joins fellow ATLien, Ludacris on the list of “A” list hip-hop heads to guest star on the popular legal show. This is one show I’m saving on my TiVo…until Oprah deletes it. ?Congrats Twan!
Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson is following in P. Diddy’s steps with a new reality show on MTV. ?The show, entitled “The Money & The Power” which will be a kind of ghetto Apprentice. ?Fiddy will take on 14 contestants who will compete in an attempt to win a $100,000 investment from the rapper/entrepreneur. ?I dunno bout this one…but I’ll probably watch just to see if Fiddy’s lips will move. ?The show premieres November 6th at 10pm on MTV.
The Girls Club ~ Mika Means, D. Woods and Shanell (aka SNL) ~ have put a female spin on T.I.’s “Swagger Like Us“. ? I caught up with these three at Ludacris’ New Era Celebration?and we crossed paths several times last weekend as we all were hitting up parties throughout the “A” (yes that’s me throwin it up in the pic above). I think the song is hott and the verses are on fire…but don’t look for an album from this girl group any time soon.??Mika Means is a force in her own right and has been on the music scene in Atlanta for a minute and Shanell (D. Woods sister) is a talented songwriter and coreographer. ?D. Woods also states that after her departure from Danity Kane, she is not looking to join another girl group and is currently planning her solo career. ?So, there you have it. ?Three talented solo artists with a ton of swagger who simply collaberated on a remix. ?

Lil Wayne is the happy father of a brand new bouncing baby boy! ?Wayne, who couldn’t contain his excitement of adding a son to the fold, shouted it out to the masses during last week’s BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. ?The mother was originally a mystery, but of course that wasnt for long.
