Meet Ms. Mary Strey, 49, of Granton, Wisconsin. Mary had a few drinks on Oct. 24th and got so lit that she couldn’t drive herself home. Crazy thing is, she tried but then decided to snitch on herself by calling 911 as she was driving.? :-/

During the call from Mary’s cell phone, she states “Somebody’s really drunk driving down Granton Road.” The emergency dispatcher tries to determine the driver’s location and asks Mary if she is driving behind them to which she replies, “No… I am them.”

Mary then tells the dispatcher that she was calling because, “I don’t want to hurt anybody. I’m drunk.” The dispatcher advises her to pull over and put on her flashers and sends an officer to her location. The responding officer reported that Strey had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.

She told officers she’d had seven or eight brandy and Cokes after a night of barhopping. Her blood alcohol level was double the legal limit, the Associated Press reported.
