The “A” Pod ~ T.I.’s “A Year And A Day” Mixtape *Re-Up*
Grand Hustle’s DJ MLK has compiled a list of previously unreleased tracks in a mixtape entitled “A Year And A Day.”? It leaked over the weekend and features Tip with cameos from Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne and Kanye West, among others.
“Remember Me” feat. Mary J. Blige, which was featured in a previous “A” pod, has been playing on the airwaves for a few weeks now and is the first track (after the intro). It’s also the lead cut from the re-release of Tip’s latest album, which will be called Paper Trail: Case Closed, which is scheduled for release late this summer.
Chris Brown is also featured on the mixtape in a snippet of a song called “Leaving With Me,” which he reportedly recorded prior to his alleged altercation with Rihanna earlier this year:
“You’re leaving with me,” Brown sings. “But I know you got a man, though/ And you know I got a girl, so/ Let’s get up out the club/ Don’t none of that matter tonight/ You’re leaving with me/ Valet, grab the Benzo/ Girl, please let your friends know, don’t none of that matter tonight.”
Tip comes in on the record and insists to a lady he’s going to make her cut her boyfriend ? at least for the next few hours ? and get with him.
“Got a man, well he ain’t tonight,” T.I. raps. ” Something tells me he ain’t laying it right … You been with those suckas too long, time for a promotion … Just imagine, me and you in a moment of passion/ Overlooking the city on a circular mattress.” (Source)

Special Request: “Tipsy” Minus the Baggy Red Speedo’s
I mentioned on my Twitter yesterday that I really didn’t think that the “Tipsy” song was that bad and that the vision of Sexy Spec twirling around in his baggy red Speedo’s basically skewed everyone’s judgment. Like for real…how can we listen to the song with all that going on?? CardioDoctor2b quickly responded: “U need to put it up on ur site without the video then”… so here it is just for him!

You may have heard this song on Atlanta radio all day yesterday and wondered about it or you may have gotten the leak about a month ago…whatever the case, this is one song you need to add to your collection. Check out T.I.’s “Remember Me” which features Mary J. Blige. He says in the song “don’t forget to remember me” and that by the time you hear it, he’ll be half way back home. Tip also seems concerned about what Tiny will be up to, but he locked that down before he left so she should be on cloud 9 right about now.
So stop your cryin…he’ll be aiight.

Two new joints from two hot ladies. Diamond (of Crime Mob) is back with a collaboration with Cee-lo called “Superbad” and Teairra Mari ditches Flo-Rida for Rick Ross in her “Cause a Scene” remix.
