Five-year-old Dyson loves wearing dresses, jewelry, and all kinds of stuff that’s traditionally for girls. His mom, Cheryl, worried that people would laugh at him and be cruel, but his family and his school have been super-supportive of his fashion choices.

Looks like the “Men in Pumps” phenomenon has moved from Morehouse College to Pre-School!

Dyson’s mom wrote a kids’ book called “My Princess Boy (A mom’s story about a young boy who loves to dress up.)”, celebrating Dyson and offering a strong anti-bullying message.

In a brutally honest television interview, Cheryl (and dad Dean) talks about what happened when she first saw little Dyson dressing in girls’ clothes, and how she went from frustration and denial to acceptance of her son.

Shocker! Gucci Mane is in Rehab?

Gucci Mane (real name: Radrick Davis) hasn’t been seen around town much these days and it’s not because he’s out of town touring and doing shows.

According to Ozone Magazine, the rapper has been forcibly placed into rehab for 28 days!

Turns out Narcotics Anonymous isn?t so anonymous after all. An NA attendee tells OZONE that their regularly scheduled meeting last night was interrupted by a nearly hour-long standoff outside the facility at Riverwoods Psychiatric Center in Riverdale, GA (on the south side of Atlanta).

Reportedly, members of Gucci Mane?s entourage ? including his manager and lawyer ? pleaded with the rapper to get help, causing quite a scene outside the hospital. His lawyer constantly reminded him that rehabilitation was the only alternative to facing more jail time and ultimately Gucci relented, turning himself in for a 28-day program around 8 PM on October 14th.

I commend Gucci on acknowledging he has a problem. At least he realizes he can get help now instead of waiting on the authorities to force him, like some other rappers I know. Standing O!

Another Day, Another Homosexual Allegation Against Bishop Eddie Long…

An author published a book way back in 2007 accusing Bishop Eddie Long of having homosexual relationships. Reuben Armstrong, a Dallas Texas radio host, penned the book entitled “Snakes in the Pulpit” and says that Bishop Eddie Long was one of it’s main characters.

Armstrong traveled to Atlanta while researching his book after two New Birth Missionary Baptist Church youth pastors contacted him. He said what they told him back in 2006 sounds eerily similar to what’s been alleged in four lawsuits filed against Long in September.

The author recently appeared on a local Atlanta news station, where he revealed what was told to him over 3 years ago. He says that he’s going to fight for Bishop Eddie Long’s resignation and cannot sit idle while Long continues to lead people astray.

“He is leading God’s people to the pits of hell. He needs to confess, repent and let God deal with him.”

Clifford “T.I.” Harris appeared on an Atlanta radio show yesterday to discuss his recent jail sentence and how he feels that people have condemned him for making mistakes.? As always, Tip spews a few notable quotables:

“All the things that have gone wrong with me pale in comparison to all the things that could have gone wrong with me.” ~ Tip

T.I. also reunited with “Joshua,” the suicidal young man he talked down from the roof last week.

Monica is Engaged… Again!

Our girl Monica’s got love all over her… and most particularly all over her finger! The A-town diva was spotted wearing a huge rock on “the special finger” recently and word soon spread that she and Shannon Brown are engaged to be married!!

The two met on the set of Mo’s “Love All Over Me Video”…
