When was the last time you worried about your online reputation? Whether you think so or not, you could have an online reputation that could cause problems with your current employer.
That was the case with Bartow County school teacher, Ashely Payne. Payne lost her job after school officials questioned her about images posted on her Facebook page.

Payne says she was forced to resign from her job at Apalachee High School in August 2009 after someone claiming to be a parent sent an email complaining about her vacation pictures.
At issue were several shots of Payne smiling while holding alcoholic beverages during a trip to Europe and there was also a Facebook status update Payne had written, stating she was headed to a game of “Crazy Bitch Bingo” at a Midtown restaurant.
The young teacher subsequently filed a lawsuit, asking the court to determine that she was entitled to a due process hearing. She also sought back pay and money for legal fees, however Superior Court Judge Chief Judge David Motes ruled against her yesterday.
In the ruling, Motes notes that Georgia law maintains that if employees resign, even when their hands are forced, it doesn’t equal an involuntary termination.
Whooda thought that one could lose a job over a photo holding an alcoholic beverage? 😕

She and Peter celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary with a lavish ceremony and things appear to be going well between the two. However, I personally predict that Bravo will zone in on Peter’s Summer legal issues to create a focal point of contention between Bailey and her sisters.

As you know, Tasia confirmed that she was pregnant with her 2nd child back in August and the singing diva celebrated with a Mickey Mouse themed baby shower.
The party was fully catered with Italian cuisine and about 100 or so invited guests were treated to musical performances by Fantasia’s brother Rico.
Several of Tasia’s celebrity friends joined in the celebration, including singer Anthony Hamilton and his wife Tarsha, as well as rapper singer Lil Mo and Sister2Sister’s Jamie Foster-Brown.
There’s been so much negativity surrounding Fantasia and Antwaun’s relationship, and while word is Tasia’s boo is still legally married to his wife Paula, the couple appears to be joyfully anticipated the birth of their son.

Weezy says it angers him how people are doing things like drinking syrup (promethazine mixed with codine) just to be cool.? He also notes that he stopped drinking it but started again recently because of his problems sleeping in the midst of producing so much work.
He also acknowledges the death death of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, and states that the creative visionary was taken from the world much too soon.
“I don’t know a person who hasn’t been influenced in some way by this man.”
There are so many key moments in the video, and one that struck me in particular was Wayne’s frustration in young people today who mimic his style by covering themselves in tattoos.? Wayne asks the youth of today to consider WHY they do the things they do?

There’s a reason David “Punk” Otunga has been M.I.A. by Jennifer Hudson’s side and it has absolutely nothing to do with his wrestling career.
J-Hud and David have been perpetually engaged since 2008 and even have a 2 year old son, David, Jr. but it’s a rare occurrence these days to see them photographed together.
Jennifer recently revealed in an interview that she has a wedding date in mind and has even chosen a dress, but according to several online sources she may not have a groom anymore!
Word on the curb is that Jennifer wants Punk to sign a pre-nup and he has flat out refused.
[David] didn?t want to sign a pre-nup, and so they put the wedding on hold.
Honestly, I don’t blame her. I’ve been known to say the same thing a time or two (or three). Shoot! I’ll be dayum if I go through another divorce arguing over whose cd’s are whose!
Next time umma just list ’em all in the pre-nup! 😆
