Erykah Badu teamed with indie-rock band, The Flaming Lips, for another NSFW video…. but she’s feeling some kinda way about it.
Erykah recorded “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” with the band and her sister Nayrok appears alongside the songstress as her body double in the video for the song in the George Salisbury directed visual.
The video created quite a buzz online and off and Erykah faced the wrath of many of her diehard fans. ?Now Badu is upset and says she feels violated because the end result was not what she agreed to.
Badu and Wayne Colton went head to head on Twitter yesterday and the end result was the following statement:
The video link that was erroneously posted on Pitchfork by the Flaming Lips of the Music Video ‘The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face’, which features Erykah Badu, is unedited and unapproved.. Sorry!! We, the Flaming Lips, accept full responsibility for prematurely having Pitchfork post it.

Erykah responded by telling The Flaming Lips to kiss her “glittery ass” and her sister’s too!
