Ice Cube and Cedric the Entertainer played host to a special VIP screening of their new film, ‘BARBERSHOP: THE NEXT CUT’ in Atlanta last night (Thursday, March 17, 2016).

The event was held at Regal Atlantic Station and WVEE-FM?s Wanda Smith kicked off the screening, which included a special presentation from Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed.

Reed presented both Ice and Cedric the notable Phoenix Award for contributing to the growing Atlanta film community, as the movie was filmed in the city.

Attendees included: Silento (Hip Hop Artist ?Watch Me Whip, Nae Nae?), Sheree Whitfield (RHOA), Demetria McKinney, Jamal ‘Gravy’ Woolard, Derek J (Celebrity Hairstylist, RHOA, Fashion Queens), Momma Dee (LHHATL), Gocha Hawkins (LA Hair), Beautti J (Cutting It in the ATL), Kawan ?KP? Prather (Grammy Award Winning Producer of Kendrick’ Lamar’s “Alright”), Edwin Jackson (Indianopolis Colts), Lavon Hooks (Pittsburgh Steelers), Chris Douglas (Buffalo Bills) and many more.
