Federal agents held a press conference today to announce the arrests of multiple members and associates of the national gang on RICO charges stemming from an indictment returned by a federal grand jury on April 27, 2016.

Forty-eight alleged members of the violent gang?including the top leaders in Tennessee and Georgia?have been charged with conspiring to participate in a racketeering enterprise that included multiple murders, attempted murder, and drug crimes.

Among the four dozen alleged Gangster Disciples members charged in indictments unsealed Wednesday, one sticks out: an Atlanta-area police officer who prosecutors say claimed to be a hit man for the violent gang and tipped off other members about police activity.

Cut the Check!! Sean Penn Settles $10 Million Defamation Lawsuit Against Lee Daniels… #EMPIRE

Another day, another legal dispute for ?Empire? creator Lee Daniels but fortunately for him… the battle against Hollywood A-Lister Sean Penn is over and done!

If you recall, Penn filed a $10 Million defamation lawsuit against the filmaker after Daniels used his name when defending Empire star Terrence Howard against media reports of domestic violence.? The statements were made in an interview conducted prior to the season 2 premiere of the show, where Daniels said:

?[Terrence] ain?t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he?s some f?in? demon,?

That?s a sign of the time, of race, of where we are right now in America.?

A settlement agreement has been reached between the two parties and the case and now Daniels is forced to ‘cut the check’!

AUC Students Launch #RapedByMorehouse To Bring Awareness to Sexual Assaults in the SpelHouse Community…

Atlanta’s historically Black collegiate community is in an uproar today after a ‘silent protest’ went viral.

The hashtag #RapedByMorehouse and #RapedAtSpelman began trending yesterday on social media after several students from Spelman College banded together to launch a silent protest on campus.

After a self-identified Spelman student anonymously took to Twitter with a detailed account of her encounter with a Morehouse student, several of her fellow students donned caution tape on their mouths to symbolize how rape victims at the college are often silenced.

They also carried signs bearing the words from her tweets in an effort to force Morehouse to acknowledge the alleged rape culture and make changes.

Many Morehouse men found the hashtag extremely disrespectful to the college as a whole and are calling for social media users to name the people accountable instead of the college as a whole.

Asked & Answered! Afeni Shakur’s Ex-Husband Reportedly Can’t Touch Tupac’s Estate…

Newsflash! Tupac’s musical legacy is reportedly protected from Afeni Shakur’s ex-husband’s itchy fingers.

As you know, Afeni unfortunately passed away yesterday of an apparent heart attack and conspiracy theorist pounced on the fact that she was going through a messy divorce.

While there’s been no suggestion of foul play, many questioned if Afeni’s soon to be ex-husband, Gust Davis, would be able nab Tupac’s remaining assets now that Afeni is no longer around to protect them… well, it seems Tupac’s mom made sure that there were specific stipulations on what to do with the funds in the event of her death, and her ex-husband’s name wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the paperwork.

Joseline Hernandez of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta payed a visit to The Wendy Show earlier today (May 2, 2016).

It was the Puerto Rican princess’ first time on the set of the popular talk show and she shared quite a bit of information with host Wendy Williams like… is she really married to Stevie J… did she REALLY sleep with Rick Ross?? What about The Game? Did she let him hit that… and much more!

Many feel that Williams threw a bunch of shade that went well over Joseline’s head, but I honestly believe the two displayed a genuine like for each other.

Wendy has often said she’s a fan of ratchet tv, but she clearly held no punches when interviewing her favorite LHHATL cast member.
