Several celebs and notable who’s who were spotted court side at the Lakers vs. Hawks game last night (March 8, 2011).
Monica and the kids took a break from the sunny skies of L.A. to watch her hubby, L.A. Lakers baller Shannon Brown, play against the home team while Polow Da Don, Roger Bob (Tyler Perry Studios) and Young Jeezy also enjoyed premium seating.
It’s Jeeezy!

Waka Flocka Flame Chooses Ink, Not Mink! Hip-hop artist Waka Flocka Flame bares all to show that he chooses “ink, not mink” in a naked anti-fur ad for PETA.
The pic was shot by celebrity photographer Robert Sebree, and the naked rapper is flexes his biceps and flaunts two strategically-placed diamond chains with the tagline ?Be Comfortable in Your Own Skin and Let Animals Keep Theirs.?
Looks like photoshopping waistlines is back in again because we clearly saw Waka’s beer belly in that behind the scenes video I posted last week.

In Waka’s PETA interview he says “learnt” about PETA by googling it and he had no idea animals were treated so poorly.
?I love animals. As a kid, I had dogs, fish, iguanas, lizards?
So when I heard about PETA, I Googled it and I was like, PETA! I learnt about it though. I got a dog, so I wouldn?t want to skin my little puppy.?
Waka also admits to giving up red meat after he saw something about “cow balls” on the net and he encourages everyone to “go online and learn something like Waka Flocka”….

Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and her adorable daughter Riley stepped into the OMG Booth at the Atlanta premiere of the new Disney flick, “Mars Need Moms”.
A private screening was held over the weekend at Regal Cinemas in Atlantic Station for a few of Atlanta’s famous moms. Kandi and Riley say they really enjoyed the movie.
Tameka Foster Glover Raymond and Usher’s two mini-mes, Usher V (Cinco) and Navyid also attended the screening. 
The good news is that Meka kept the drama to a minimum and her jealous streak was kept well under wraps… at least for the kids sake.
If you recall, Tameka went ballistic a few months back when Kandi innocently mentioned Usher was attractive.

But all’s well that ends well.
[Sidebar: I still *giggle* when I think of all I learned from Tameka last year during Essence… but I digress!]
Actress Terri J. Vaughn & family and Sharlinda Parker (wife of Q from 112) and son also attended the screening. And before you thing that Dad’s were excluded from the screening. Rapper Roscoe Dash brought his cute lil daughter and so did Amir Boyd of Grand Hustle.

Wiz Khalifa dumped Amber Rose for Diddy’s girl Cassie… well almost but not really.
Cassie plays Wiz’s love interest in the official video for “Roll Up,” the second single from his major label debut Rolling Papers. The video was filmed in the sunny California on Venice Beach. 
In my one on one with Wiz (click here if you missed it), he described himself as “very tall & very high.” He also revealed that the blonde patch in his hair was merely a fashion statement that “they used to do in the 80’s”.
So it’s no wonder Cassie’s shaved temples combined with Wiz’s blonde patch make a really cute couple!
Directed by Jake Davis, the clip opens as Cassie her friends catch Wiz’s eye while hanging out at the beach. They run into each other again later on the basketball court and spend the afternoon holding hands and watching the sunset over the water.
?She?s really, really dope in the video. Just her movement and her following, I felt like it?s just real positive and it matches what we represent.
For the type of chick that we were representing, like a really bossy chick, a chick who has some stuff going, it felt like Cassie was perfect for it.?

Aretha Franklin invited Wendy Williams into her home for a very intimate interview. She spoke about her dramatic weight loss, pop culture, and even reality TV, but remained tight-lipped about her major surgery.
In the exclusive interview with ?The Wendy Williams Show,? Franklin said she was continuing to work on her health.
Franklin said she has focused on changing her diet?– including avoiding food “smothered” in hot sauce.
“That’s off the menu now… and no pig feet, either.”
The 68-year-old ?Queen Of Soul? said she was motivated to shed the weight after seeing photos of herself and revealed she had a difficult time losing the weight.
“I was doing everything you could to lose that weight, and it’s hard. It’s just really hard. [But] you can’t continue eating things that will hurt you eventually.”
In part 2 of Wendy’s interview, Franklin spoke about her upcoming biopic and why she originally chose Halle Berry (who turned down the role) to portray her:
I knew she couldn’t sing. Never expected her to. She was my first choice but not my only choice.
