R&B singer Sammie was spotted with entrepreNegro Christopher “Ludacris” Bridges last weekend (July 31st), as they partnered with Atlanta City Council member (and my former classmate) Keisha Lance Bottoms, Future Foundation and Greenbriar Mall for a Back to School Rally.

Students in grades K through 12 received backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies, including crayons, notebooks, pencils, calculators, rulers and more.

Kaiser Permanente provided free health screenings and Cascade Library donated books and signed families up for free library cards.

Props to Sammie & Luda for doing some good in my old hood!

Clifford “T.I.” Harris and his longtime love Tameka “Tiny” Cottle tied the knot in Miami this past weekend.? The two lovebirds’ marriage license leaked on Friday, which listed their wedding date as July 30, 2010:

Real Housewives of Atlanta Celebrate Lawrence Washington’s Singing Debut – “Closet Freak” [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

I met Lawrence Washington last year at a club and immediately gave him the title of Diva of the Day [READ: Diva of the Day: Lawrence Washington].

Who knew that he would soon become one of the breakout “male” stars of Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta?

Washington (aka Sheree’ Whitfield’s Hairstylist) debuted his new song “Closet Freak” last night to a supportive audience of friends, family.

The Atlanta Housewives all came out to support… well all except the rumored-to-be-booted housewife Lisa Wu Hartwell, who, ironically, has a clothing line with the same name as Washington?s single.? [Sidebar: I spoke to Lisa and Ed last night at a different event, and that post is coming soon.]

Not yet anyway. I’d give him a good 10 to 15.

I swear there’s f*ckery all around us, and I barely even notice it but I appreciate my friend Freshalina for opening my eyes. I don’t know the whole story behind this pic… all I know is that it was taken on the streets of my city.

There are none so blind as those who will not see! Fresh is the master of spotting hoe sh*t and debauchery. Me? I just need to pay more attention to my surroundings.

In his exclusive interview with JET, Tip once again revisits his time in prison, discussing the books that sparked his elaborate vocabulary and why he reads the dictionary now on the regular.? There was no mention of his wedding plans to longtime fiance, Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, but of course he already addressed that the other day.

Who Knew Laurence Fishburne?s 18 Year Old Daughter Was a P*rnStar?

Chris Rock once joked that it’s every father’s job to keep their daughter off the pole, and although stripping is not a career any father would choose for their daughter, I’m sure p*rno could be viewed as the worse case scenario!

Actor Laurence Fishburne is now facing any father’s worst fears as his 18 year old daughter Montana is now getting paid to get freaky on film.

According to CarltonJordan:

Brian Pumper and 18-year old Montana Fishburne are a couple! The two were spotted by CarltonJordan.com team at a Subway in the Mid-Wilshire area of Los Angeles!

Although Mr. Pumper [why do I giggle everytime I type his name!] was ready to talk to our cameras, little Miss Montana Fishburne was not having it and ran into the Starbucks next door to get away!

Hmmm?.daddy must not know about this union and we have a feeling he is not gonna be happy!
