During the 2009 BET Hip Hop Awards, Gucci Mane performed onstage at least 4 times with different artists but it was his performance of “Wasted” that warranted a public service announcement. BET, in an effort to discourage youths from celebrating in being drunk and wasted, ran the brief PSA from Gucci Mane himself advising all watching that he’s serious about his sobriety:

Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes appear to have buried the hatched and moved on from their public feud aired during the 2nd season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The two were spotted at Mr. Chows last weekend and that in itself should have been the big news that day, but apparently Kim’s cooch upstaged their lil reunion when it was photographed upon Kim’s arrival.

Pleasure P was spotted out and about in Atlanta a few days ago with his new boo, Bria Murphy. Bria, Eddie Murphy’s eldest daughter has been creating quite a buzz these days in that she’s also the featured love interest in Gucci Mane’s upcoming video for “Spotlight” featuring Usher.

The two were captured on what appeared to be a romantic date night by Prince Williams of ATLpics. The cute new couple hit up AJA restaurant and also took a few moments to check out a haunted house:

The single features Swizz Beats & Lil Wayne and was leaked by Chris via his twitter a few weeks ago (Click Here to download). While some are still debating Morehouse College’s New Dress Code Policy as being an act of discrimination, there are also Washington University students who have experienced being unfairly targeted because of their dress and even barred from a Chicago nightspot under the guise of a “baggy jeans” policy. In case you are naive enough to think that having a Black president means that racism has been eradicated, check out this email I received yesterday about an experiment done by a group of Black WU students that proved a venue they were visiting in Chicago was discriminating against Black students while White students who dressed in similar attire were allowed entry:

Flix ~ Stars Light Up The Thurgood Marshall College Fund Annual Anniversary Dinner

Several stars lit up the Thurgood Marshall College Fund 22nd Annual Anniversary Dinner in New York last night which celebrating 22 years of igniting the dreams of minority students attending 47 member public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and 6 historically black law schools. The sold out event, hosted by Danny Glover, drew such A-Listers as Mary J. Blige, Monica, Fantasia and more. There were also a few faces we haven’t seen in a while.
