I mention the movie A.T.L. and lookie who pops up in my inbox! Everyone’s favorite lil brother, and Evan Ross hit up Atlanta yesterday (February 2, 2011) to promote his new film, Moozlum, which hits theaters Friday, Feb. 11th.
The honorary ATLien stopped by CAU for a meet n? greet after taping ?The Mo?Nique Show? and stopping by Hot 107.9 for an afternoon interview with radio jock Emperor Searcy.
In Mooz-lum, Ross, plays the lead character ?Tariq,? a young man trying to ?find himself? in the midst of his father?s strict Muslim principles and the events of 9/11. Nia Long and Danny Glover also star in the film.
Ross currently has a recurring role on 90210.

The cast of the 1999 wedding flick, “The Best Man” got together over the weekend for a reunion dinner of sorts.
Taye Diggs, Nia Long, Morris Chestnut, Terence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Harold Perrineau, Regina Hall, Melissa De Sousa, Monica Calhoun and director Malcolm Lee all attended the dinner, which was held last weekend (January 29, 2011) in West Hollywood.
I’m sure they shared stories about how far they’ve come in the past 12 years since making the Black film favorite.

Nicki Minaj was spotted strolling through LAX this morning rocking comfy low maintenance airport gear.
Nicki may have married Drizzy Drake in the official video for “Moment for Life,” but it’s her longtime companion, Jamai Willis that’s always by her side.? For her travels, Nicki went all ‘black everything’ with a jet black wig, comfy velour pants and flat black Giueppe Zanotti lace up boots (retail $1,295).
These knee-high sneaker boots are trimmed with leather and feature a full lace up front as well as a side zipper.
Nicki is also carrying her Louis Vuitton Bellevaue Bag (PM $895- GM $1,090) ~ Upscale Hype
Nicki was arriving from NYC where she’d had her comedic acting debut during an appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The highly-viewed show featured the Young Money rapper performing her hits ?Right Thru Me? and ?Moment 4 Life.? In addition, Nicki flexed her acting chops with appearances in the ?Bride of Blackenstein? sketch and ?Creep? digital short with comedy trio The Lonely Island.

Chris Brown’s attorneys were in court recently asking a judge to reduce Chris’ mandatory “stay away” order from Rihianna… and according to TMZ, at has absolutely nothing to do with the Grammy Awards.
As part of the Rihanna assault case, Brown’s attorney asked the judge yesterday to reduce the “stay away” order against him to a “do not annoy” order. Doing so would have removed the part about Brown having to stay 50 yards away from RiRi.
Ultimately, while the judge again praised Brown for his progress, the ruling was put off until a later date because an attorney for Rihanna could not be reached.
As for the idea that this hearing has anything to do with Brown going to the Grammys … Tammy Brook, a rep for Brown, tells TMZ, “This court date and the lifting of the restraining order is part of the planned ongoing legal proceedings. The date was scheduled months ago. Chris Brown is very thankful for his Grammy nominations, but due to scheduling conflicts, he will not be attending the Grammys.”
I guess sicne Rih Rih is single, Chris just want so to be close to her… again.
