Just last week, R. Kelly was blasted by several high profile women of color in the entertainment industry, who all called to MUTE the singer for his alleged inappropriate relationships with young girls.

The superstar singer is now on a mission to prove he’s still got a few celebrities on his side, despite being the target of the #TimesUp movement.

Kelly captioned the video, “Friends & Family. That’s what it’s all about. #MorningsWithKellz.”

As previously reported, several famous women including Ava DuVernay, Kerry Washington and Viola Davis all call for the music industry and it’s supporters to pull the plug and “mute” the star but does this show of camaraderie mean we should now “mute” Tyrese too?
