Rapper Young Thug is being blasted online today after a video he posted went viral.

The rapper apparently felt that airline employees didn’t do enough to help him when he missed his flight, so he proceeds to film them while offering $15k to quit their jobs.

The employees, who were Black females, asked not to be filmed but Thug continues to demean them with comments like ‘zoom in on her nappy hair’ and referring to them as ‘ants’ and ‘peasants’.

As a black female, I feel it’s important to show people how disrespectful he was to these employees who were Black women and deserved the same kind of respect that he asked Plies to give his own daughter.

Most sites are posting that they were rude and deserved to be embarrassed but here’s an Instagram user (@KaviarKush) who explains it the best:

What Young Thug said to these two black women at the Alaska Airlines in the Airport is so appalling. Everything from calling them bum ass hoes, nappy (ordering whoever he came with to zoom in on their hair), ants, peasants. He supposedly received bad customer service and didn’t make the flight for a show but Alaska Airlines stated he came 45 minutes late. He went on to degrade them by offering $15,000 cash to quit their jobs, as if living below the Federal Poverty Limit is now an incentive. The security guard just stood there. If it was a terrorist situation they wouldn’t have any help. He also stated “they look like Africans that got deported over”, if that’s even possible. VIDEO: Young Thug Offers Airline Employees $15K to quit their jobs…

The backstory is that Young Thug was at least 45 minutes late for his flight.

Thug was upset because it was the final flight he could take to make his concert, which he subsequently had to cancel. For the record, the airline offered him a seat on a partner airline, but he declined.

The rapper has since responded to the backlash via twitter:

After watching the video, I honestly feel bad for the young lady. Maybe Thug should be banned from Alaska airlines just like Delta banned that Trump Supporter who was disruptive and calling passengers ‘Hillary Bitches’.
