The Real Housewives of Atlanta aired it’s third episode of it’s 9th season last night (November 20, 2016).

Last week, we were left with Kenya Moore and Sheree Whitfield preparing for yet another battle (click HERE if you missed that).

This week’s episode is titled, ‘Ghosts of Boyfriends Past’ and Bravo’s synopsis is as follows:

Kenya and Matt take their relationship to the next level with a road trip to Matt’s family reunion. Cynthia struggles with the idea of not being on good terms with Peter after they divorce. Bob tries to coax Shere? into going out on a date, while Porsha comes up with her own idea of a modern family. Kandi gets an unexpected visit that has her questioning what’s best for her daughter.

Sheree lunches with Phaedra and Porsha to to rehash her last argument with Kenya. It seems she and her ‘neighbor’ are at each other’s throats again after Whitfield tried to point out the unfinished decor at Moore Manor.

Now I’m not one to gossip, so you didn’t hear this from me, but Kenya was way off about Chateau Sheree being in Sheree’s mom’s name. Sure, it’s been in the name of SEVERAL family members over the years, including Thelma Furgeson (Sheree’s mother) and Tearra Fuller (Sheree’s adult daughter) but it last landed in what Sheree calls a family trust, which is actually an LLC (there is a difference).

Sheree addressed this last night during the show as she had lunch with Frick and Frack and they delightfully let her dig her own grave during the conversation.

You may have heard by now that Sheree has owes the IRS quite a few coins (click HERE if you missed that), and apparently moving her largest asset out of her name is an effort to secure the property against possible seizure by the IRS.

It’s a shifty game, but someone’s got to do it!

[Sidebar: For the record, hiding assets from the IRS is a felony… just ask Teresa and Joe Guidice. But I digress.]

Porsha even acknowledges Sheree’s ghetto mentality by ‘joking’ that her momma Thelma had probably put several things in Sheree’s name back in the day. OUCH!

Meanwhile on the other side of town, Kenya and Matt are indulging in some quality time as they get reacquainted during a workout. It seems that Matt is so happy about being back on the payroll that he’s willing to work overtime by helping Kenya stay fit.

Matt also admits that Kenya and the ladies’ ‘catty’ nature are a bit scary to him, but he’ll probably fit right in if that giggle is any indication.

Moving on…

Porsha Baby Mama Ambitions…

Fans are finally introduced to Porsha’s latest man friend, Todd, as the pair film a scene addressing her pregnancy ambitions.

It seems Porsha is ready, willing and able to conceive a child by her new boo, who she claims is an old high school flame.

But wait… there’s a few glitches in her plan.? One being that ‘new Todd’ is already a father and the other being that Porsha doesn’t want to get married again at this time.

So, in essence, Porsha merely wants to be a ‘baby mama’ and I’m sure that won’t be a title too hard for her to obtain.

Tall tales from Grandmom’s Kitchen…

Sheree and Bob Whitfield reunite at his mom’s house to speak about what else? The Chateau! It seems that Bob is tired of commuting from his mom’s house to his girlfriend’s house downtown, so he suggests that Sheree allow him to move into her Chateau.

But wait… there’s a small problem.? Sheree doesn’t even live there!

Bob sweats at the prospect of living under one roof with his ex… or maybe he’s sweating because it’s hot in his mom’s kitchen… whatever the case, production could have given that man a sweat break!

Whatever the case, Sheree reminisces about season 1 when she and Bob were fighting over light fixtures as she was getting put out of their foreclosed home, but Bob seems to be over being petty and wants to move on.

The scene ends with Sheree admitting that it’s great to move forward but they have some work to do before he can ever move ‘in’.

Meet the Parents…

Kenya goes on an 8 hour car ride with Matt to visit to visit his family in Cincinnati, Ohio where she’s grilled about their relationship.

Not only is ‘the whole wide world’ side-eyeing Kenya’s relationship with ‘rent-a-Matt,’ but his sister is too!

While Matt’s mom and dad seems to be open to their son dating someone almost their age, Matt’s sister feels that Kenya is a bit too old for her brother and she’s not afraid to say it.

Surprisingly, Kenya admits that she’s the ‘alpha male’ in the relationship, a fact which the family quickly picks up on and allows her to pay for their meal. *sigh*

Matt’s sister pulls Kenya aside to tell her her concerns.? Apparently the huge age difference is a big factor Matt’s sister’s cynicism but Kenya uses her gift of gab to calm her fears.

Kandi’s Baby Daddy Drama…

Kandi finally faces the fact that her oldest daughter doesn’t really have a relationship with her father, Russell ‘Block’ Spencer.

Block has a music label/music management company in Atlanta that USED TO BE under Bad Boy’s label imprint back in the day.? Several rappers including Yung Joc, Gorilla Zoe and Boyz in the Hood had their biggest hits on his label.

Word on the curb is that Kandi was bumping skins with Block back in the day and ‘THEY SAY” she knew he had a wife and kids at home.? Block wanted nothing to do with the child and has never really been a solid presence in Riley’s life.

Fast forward to 16 years later and Block’s now agreed to be on RHOA.

Block still seems a bit hesitant… especially since he sends his latest girlfriend (Chris Kelly) over to The Kandi Factory to discuss the situation with Kandi.? As she shares her concerns with Kandi,? Todd and the ‘Kandi Koated Clique’ listens outside the office.

Kandi isn’t too keen on hearing the pitch from Block’s mouthpiece and tells her that Riley doesn’t want to deal with it.

Todd shares his thoughts on the situation, which is reminiscent of the fact that he wasn’t in his own daughter’s life when she was younger, so it’s clear that he’s on board with building this relationship with Block even if Kandi isn’t.

Lena Chenier and RL even get involved in the drama this week as well, as she meets with Kandi’s baby daddy and his girlfriend where they rehash the situation.? Block seems to feel a different way about the situation, and reveals that he’s been there ever since Riley was born… except that one time that he didn’t show up.

It’s all very sad, but hopefully they’ll manage to resolve their issues this season.

The juiciest thing out of all this is the fact that Kandi spills the tea about Porsha sleeping with Block as well.
