NEWSFLASH! Kandi Burruss of The Real Housewives of Atlanta has confirmed what most of Atlanta has known for quite some time now… that she and cast mate Phaedra Parks are definitely NOT friends.

For the record, Kandi and Phaedra fell out way before baby Ace was born.

In fact, the two former friends bumped heads well before Apollo’s legal drama as Phaedra felt ‘somekindaway’ about Kandi and Todd being so supportive of Apollo and still hanging out with him while Phaedra was busy trying to keep her legal reputation intact…. but I digress.

Kandi recently hit social media to offer her take on the failed friendship as she addressed a fan who questioned why she and Phaedra were so cold towards each other during episode 2, which aired last week (click HERE if you missed that).

It seems that Kandi & Phaedra both have a lot to say about the situation. Details below…

Kandi posted the video above via her Instagram page as she addressed a question

Basically, Phaedra and I haven’t been around each other one on one without anybody else around in over a year at that time… and that’s because we really didn’t mess with each other like that.

But she did come to the hospital when I had the baby, but things where really not great.? She reached out and said she wanted to come, so I was like ‘cool’… tryna be cordial, but then she said something else after that and I was like ‘I don’t f*ck with her’…

We really don’t f*ck with each other, so… we were trying to just be cordial because we have to be on the show together.

On the other side of the net, Phaedra is still stewing about Mama Joyce and the Kandi Koated Clique roasting her during last week’s episode and she shared her thoughts about Kandi’s mom’s statements via her Bravo blawg, stating:

I am never surprised when attention seeking people say and do things to get attention, because it’s what they do and it is expected.

It is unfortunate that she is still searching for significance this late in her life, rather than focusing on the afterlife. Bless her heart.

Kandi addresses that too when asked online why she can’t control her ‘miserable ass mom’…
