Stevie J. of Love & Hip Hop Atlanta has finally been sentenced in for his long-standing child support issues.

The popular reality star shared with fans that he would be going away to do time, but once he appeared in front of a federal judge in New York, he was order to attend rehab instead.

Stevie J has been battling his ‘million dollar’ child support case for quite a while now and just last week, he was prepared to do time.

The situation stems from the fact that Stevie negligent for over $1 million in overdue child support payments for two of his children?since 1999 .

The popular musician?dodged jail time once before and was ordered to complete periodic drug tests in the case. ?He’s often failed the court mandated tests (click HERE if you missed that) and even admitted to using cocaine on two occasions this year.

Now, a sympethetic judge has once again ordered Stevie to a 30-day in-patient rehab facility for violating the terms of his probation for failing to pay child support. His?daughter was even on hand to speak up for her father when he appeared in court.

Once Stevie?s rehab is complete, he will be under GPS-monitored house arrest and will have to participate in ?intense? out-patient treatment… (whatever that means).

As he left court in Manhattan,?Stevie spoke to reporters, telling them what he thinks of his house arrest.

?I think its a bunch of bulls?. Of course I?m not OK with it, but it?s more or less like confinement to home for what? ?Cause I?m a black tax paying citizen taking care of all his kids?? ?(source)
