Word on the curb is that Nene Leakes and her bff Cynthia Bailey’s ‘estranged’ husband, Peter Thomas, have been spending quite a bit of time together.

The popular restaurateur spends his days and nights tending to his businesses in Charlotte, but an Atlanta ‘partnership’ has been brewing between he and Leakes for weeks now and I just got the exclusive TEA!

Peter Thomas’ Atlanta ‘Bar One’ has been closed for quite some time now, but it seems it’s finally time for the ATL leg of his popular franchise to resume business with the help of Nene Leakes.

I’ve been told that the two RHOA big wigs have joined forces and are currently in talks to partner for Bar One Atlanta’s Auburn Avenue location.

To refresh your memory, Bar One Atlanta closed back in 2014 and it was announced that it would be reopening… soon.

[Sidebar: “Soon” has been nearly 2 years now… but I digress.]

The Atlanta area hot spot was a booming business for Thomas and many of RHOA’s scenes were shot on location there.

Nene and Peter partnering seems like a no brainer but since we all know she spent many an evening drinking… eating… and drawing fans & lookyloos to the popular restaurant and I’m sure it’ll be a win win for both of these two.

Meanwhile, there’s no word on what Cynthia Bailey feels about the situation, but she’s most likely all for it… hell, that means more money for her in the fake divorce, right.

All jokes aside, this could also mean that Peter has established that ‘exit strategy’ that he spoke of during our FaceTime interview a few months ago.

For those of you who have been wondering about Nene’s position for the 9th season of the popular show, she has confirmed via several news outlets that she’s returning but refuses to say in what capacity.

This shady ‘partnership’ between she and Thomas could be Nene’s ticket back to full time status being that it will probably ruffle Cynthia’s feathers… but who knows, I’m just making my usual assumptions.

As for Peter and his Charlotte area barssssss, I’ve also heard through the grapevine that there has been talks of a show featuring Thomas and his booming businesses. A ‘Building Bar One’ type show could be sparked if the partnership between Nene & Thomas pans out.

“IF” the ink is in place, my intel suggests that Bar One ATL will be opening just in time for the season 9 finale episode (how convenient)… “IF” that occurs, it would a perfect segway to ‘Building Bar One’… kinda like how Kandi & Todd ended season 7 under that marque that led to their wedding special.

This is all speculation folks… but remember where you heard it first when (I mean “IF) you see it come to fruition.
