Ciara and Future are battling in court over baby Future this week and yesterday wasn’t a good day at all for the songstress.

As you know, Ciara filed a $15 million defamation lawsuit against her baby daddy and he subsequently filed a counter suit with similar claims.

The case is ongoing but Future won one yesterday as Ciara suffered a huge loss in court when she sought to take sole custody of baby Future.

?According to TMZ, Ciara got shot down in a big way in custody court Monday as she came in with guns blazing!

Sources connected to the former couple say Ciara showed up in court asking for sole custody of their 1-year-old son, baby Future.

She claimed Future was a bad parent who was not present in the child’s life. We’re told she and her lawyer also trash talked Future to the judge, saying he was a bad person.

For the record, Future appeared and asked for joint custody, and the judge was squarely on his side, rejecting Ciara’s arguments that she should be the sole custodian of their young son.

The case is being tried in California, whose courts favor joint custody, so the decision was in line with the law.

TMZ caught Ciara leaving court (alone), and she was tight lipped as she jumped behind the wheel of her black range rover.
