It was just a few days ago that I revealed in a ‘not so blind’ item that Oprah Winfrey‘s OWN newtork would be pulling the plug on their ‘baby daddy’ themed show (click HERE if you missed that).

The show was to be focused around Jay Williams, the Atlanta resident with 34 kids and 17 baby mamas that bared his baby mama drama on several episodes of Iyanla: Fix My Life.

The goal of the ‘Untitled Jay Williams Project’ was to follow Williams as he worked to put his life and relationships in order with the help of spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant holding him accountable every step of the way…. but things didn’t turn out as planned.

Well… it seems my hot tea was true.? OWN has released an official statement severing ties with the project.

In a statement released by OWN, the network confirms that production has officially ended and they will not be airing the Jay Williams docu-series:

OWN has decided not to move forward with the Jay Williams docu-series. The series aimed to follow Jay as he worked to put his life and fractured relationships in order and to hold him accountable every step of the way. The intention was to help Jay work to establish new connections with his family, his children and the mothers of his children. Production has ended and the series will not air.

As I revealed in my earlier post, Iyanla wasn’t pleased with Williams and his antics. ? My sources even revealed that Williams got into a huge blow out with BET’s Jeff Johnson during the taping!

He got into the altercation with Jeff Johnson and security had to break it up, he didn’t want to do any of the “therapy” type stuff either so that’s where they really got mad.

When higher ups came and watched some of the footage and saw he wasn’t cooperating, they called Oprah and told her it was a ratchet mess!

Another reason the show was scrapped may be because Williams didn’t learn anything from all those appearances alongside Iyanla and it would make her look bad.

Especially considering one of the baby mamas who appeared on the show with him is pregnant AGAIN!! My solid source also revealed:

Chante’ (the one that was crying all crazy asking him why why why) is the 1 that’s pregnant again.

Welp… OWN’s legendary ‘father of 34’ is about to be an unemployed father of 35 since the ?Untitled Jay Williams Project? has been canned.
