Those incidents earned Usher a 1 year restraining order in July 2012 against Jones-Rakestraw, where she was arrested for criminal trespassing and ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation.
When the order ended in 2013, Jones-Rakestraw ‘allegedly’ began harassing Usher yet again, even leaving messages for his attorney.? He then filed a 2nd restraining order, which resulted in brief arrest.
None of this has quelled Jones-Rakestraw’s obsession with her idol and she now faces a THIRD restraining order from Usher after her continued efforts to connect with the superstar!
More details about Usher’s 3rd restraining order against Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw below…
Just a few months ago, Jones-Rakestraw posted documents indicating that the 2nd restraining order Usher filed had been dismissed by a Fulton County judge (click HERE if you missed that), and she also left the following comment?under an earlier post about her arrest, stating:
On January 8 2015 Mr.Usher Terry Raymond I dismissed all charges against me. It?s amazing how the public reacts to situations without considering both sides of the story.
I had just woke up on that picture and I called the police on myself because I didn?t want to be in Atlanta with a warrant. Mentally ill or not does not mean I am not capable of abiding by the law.
The case was dismissed in January 2015 ‘without prejudice,’ which meant that the superstar could file another suit based on the same grounds, if necessary.
Welp… here were are 5 months later and according to Usher, Darshelle is still very much a threat to his safety…. at least according to the new documents filed last Thursday (May 14, 2015) against his ‘alleged’ stalker in Fulton County Superior Court.
The AJC reports:
The Grammy Award-winning singer, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, is asking the court to prevent Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw from contacting him or being within 200 yards of him, his family or his business associates, the petition, filed Friday, states.
Usher is ?concerned that criminal trespass and even more harmful events may occur in the future,? the petition states.
The latest case marks the 3rd (yes THIRD!) time since 2012, that Usher has sought protection from the court from Jones-Rakestraw, who was arrested just days before Christmas after she showed up at the entertainer?s home yet again!

Jones-Rakestraw has also allegedly attempted to extort money from the star, and recently set up a fundraising page for his charity without his knowledge, the petition states.
In June 2012, Jones-Rakestraw showed up twice at Usher?s Johns Creek home, where she was arrested for criminal trespassing and ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation, according to court documents. She was ordered to spend 20 days in the Fulton County jail.
Usher was granted a 12-month protective order against Jones-Rakestraw in July 2012 but, by January 2014, she was allegedly harassing him again, leaving messages for his attorney.
In November 2014, Jones-Rakestraw even left a message for Usher’s attorney, John Mayoue, demanding that he return her call and that Usher send her money!
?I drove to Chicago and I want him to Western Union me some money or either give me something to get to work and I?m not playing with him,? Jones-Rakestraw said in a message.
?I?m tired of the games. If I can?t eat, he can?t eat.?
Usher’s latest petition reveals that Darshelle has once again crossed the line…
According to the court docs filed May 14, 2015, Jones-Rakestraw represented herself as a representative of Usher?s New Look Foundation, and even created a ?Kickstarter? page for the charity that links to a separate page to raise funds to reinstate her nursing license.? They also note that last month, Jones-Rakestraw sent out invitations to an event on behalf of Usher’s charity.
Usher?s latest petition once again asks the court to order psychiatric or psychological help for Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw (I guess 3rd time’s the charm)…
