If you’re not familiar with Fulton County stalking ordinances, once paperwork is filed, a petitioner is granted a 30 day “temporary” order of protection (TPO) if they can convince a judge that one is needed. If the defendant violates the order during that 30 day period, they can be arrested for aggravated stalking.
Once the 30 days has passed, the respondant must appear in court to plead their case as to why a full restraining order should be granted.
Usher appeared this morning to plead his case.
Details…
Apparently the judge was convinced that 30 days not enough and that in the month since the TPO was been issued, Darshelle has proven that she is indeed a threat to Raymond’s safety.
Darshelle Jones-Rakestraw has a long criminal past which includes robbery, burglary and aggravated stalking. ?She was first arrested outside Usher’s Georgia home on June 24 after she’d already been escorted off the property days earlier. She was later taken to a psych ward for a mental evaluation but was subsequently released.

Darshelle hit the net with a response video, where she claims that Usher was “defaming her character” by filing the order against her since he gave her money and her bank records could prove it (click HERE if you missed that).
Usher and Jones-Rakestraw were both in court this morning, where the judge heard both sides and agreed with Raymond that Jones-Rakestraw is a threat and should not be anywhere near his family members.
If you read StraightFromTheA on the regular, you’d know that?Jones-Rakestraw has posted up on this site and responds regularly to anyone and everyone who comments on posts about her stalking case.?She normally comments under her REAL NAME?(it’s her) and is clearly enjoying her 5 minutes of notoriety.
Darshelle left the following comment about the order in the post about Usher’s 911 call?July 4, 2012 at 10:36am:
The other two adults
Rena Latrice Oden
Ernestine Carter, both living off of Usher and his children.
I was not very happy because when I was in the house observing. I didn?t like the way that the light skinned chick was talking to NavEiyd. Nav wanted to play with Play-Doh and the lady was being nasty to him,the way I took it. She to him you are not playing with no play-Doh you are about to eat a snack. She never asked the boys to wash their hands which disturbed me :/ I went up to NavEiyd and said to him if you eat all of your snack, I?ll make sure that you get to play with play-doh.
I hope that all is well, smh
FYI – the order covers Usher, his two sons Naviyd and Usher V, his mother Jonetta Patton, grandmother Erestine Carter and his aunt Rena Latrice Oden.
Darshelle also sent over a?list of 39 questions where she also copied Barack Obama… but that’s beside the point.
All I know is, the only thing Usher had to do to convince the judge was to play Darshelle’s videos. She probably sealed her own fate with this last video she did to Usher last week…
Do you think Darshelle be able to control her Usher impulses and honor the restraining order imposed by the State of Georgia?
Stay tuned…
