Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta poses with Michael Strahan and Robin Roberts on the set of ‘Live With?Kelly and Michael’ as she made an appearance on the show earlier this week.

Leakes, the only original ‘housewife’ left spoke about the season 7 reunion show (click HERE for part 1 recap) and how she felt that the ‘newbies’ were strategically placed to cause conflict with the ‘Queen,’ stating:

?Everybody wants to knock the queen off her throne, but she?s not going anywhere.?

Whether she stays for the drama or leaves for greener pastures remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure… Nene seems to agree with the rest of the world that the term ‘Housewives’ loses it’s meaning when the cast is filled with ‘Single Ladies.’

When asked who she feels should get the boot from the popular reality show, Nene was crystal clear about her position and it seems that she’s campaigning for Claudia Jordan and Kenya Moore to check their peaches at the door on the way out!

Nene on ‘unmarried’ housewives…

?You know what, I would be there if some people left. They need to get rid of some folk. Everybody that ain?t married. I mean, the show is called ?The Housewives,? isn?t it? So, you need to be married to be on the show?

Over the years, the show has become very negative and there have been some people that have been thrown in the mix that have been negative ? so re-cast. I don?t mind if it?s one girl, maybe two girls that aren?t married, because it?s always great to see a single girl dating and all that kind of stuff. But, to have as many girls as we have on our show that?s not married ? we need to get rid of a couple of them, don?t you think?

Damn… I just said the exact same thing to Cynthia Bailey the other day!!

It’s interesting that Nene didn’t throw her former BFF under the bus.? I think she even made room for Porsha to stay with that ‘one girl maybe two’ comment.
